All credit to the young Wildwood team who made the whole experience fun and appropriately stretching for my nephew (fearless & tall for a ten year old) and my niece (8, who was both fearless and utterly terrified at times).

When my niece suddenly became very frightened and stopped, a member of staff (Shannon) did a fantastic job of acknowledging her fear (not minimising it), rescuing her and then investing time to rebuild / build her confidence so that she subsequently absolutely flew around the course with her elder brother. The rest of the staff were great at keeping the other children occupied and separate until she had found her confidence, whilst respecting her fear (‘she’s just nervous’) rather than ridiculing her or getting frustrated.

Two very happy young people and a grateful auntie and uncle!

Thank you, team.

We had a fantastic morning, all the staff were extremely helpful and understanding especially as half of our party were delayed due to traffic.

The Extreme course was really fun for teenage kids (13 & 15) and even for a nervous Mummy.

The only downside on a hot day and nothing to do with Wild Woods itself is the busy Lido next door meaning queuing traffic between the lido and Wild Woods private car park - between that and Guildford traffic, I recommend giving yourself plenty of extra time to get to the site.

Thank you so much for your review! Yes, when the sun is out and the Lido is open it can be a little frustrating to battle through, but only at peak times - it looks like you caught one of those. Most days there is never a problem. . . but at least you have your own private and free car park when you arrive! Well done on having a go and experiencing our Extreme course 👍

This was a brilliant experience, and great value for money. The staff were charming and knowledgable, and gave us really clear instructions and advice. The kids (and me!) absolutely loved the climbing - there are two routes to try for under 12s, which are challenging but achievable, and we managed to get around the course a few times during the hour’s booking. It was really exciting being so high up in the trees and testing your balance and bravery on different platforms - ending in a fun zip wire!
Free parking on site, and a choice of light refreshments available to purchase.
Wholly recommend.

It was a great afternoon out however, there is no point paying for the extreme course because you only get to go around the two levels once. Also, they expect you to pay 5 pounds extra to go on a zip line at the end. It is optional however I think it’s outrageous to pay extra, even when other places like go ape don’t make you. Also, they say you are getting an hour to climb however, the briefing takes up 15 mins of your time!

The obstacles were good but the experience was disappointing. We were massively held up and had to wait for a long time to move around the course due to sheer numbers on it and there were insufficient staff to assist people when needed (including at entrance and exit points where distancing was impossible because of the amount of people waiting on the platform). Someone having difficulty on the course in a group far ahead held everyone up behind them and we didn’t know about this until seeing it later. There wasn’t even an apology from the staff. An anti-climax. Shame as I’d recommended the activity to many friends and have done it several times before.

A great few hours of outdoor challenge and fun for a family of 5, ageing from 11 to 51! Staff were friendly and focused on the job, there to support but not to take over. I found the quality of kit and treetop challenges to be excellent. We ended with the zip line and drop off the later whilst perfectly safe challenged all of us to do.

The zip wire at the end is great - I'd recommend it over the drop. And for the rest - very safe harnesses and safety checks and clear safety guidance from the very professional and approachable staff. Empty your pockets! Wallets, keys etc can be left safely at the ticket office. Plenty of obstacles high up but you are safe from falling with the harness. Plenty of zip wires and wobbly sky high bridging and netting to get over, and plenty of space and time to do it safely at your own pace. No rush no hurry just enjoy it!

Just arrived home and had to write a review... WildWood is absolutely amazing! We pre booked and had an adventure with myself (58) and 2 small children (6) and (8)
When we arrived for our first time experience the staff were brilliant, very competent and professional. Young people but obviously we'll trained. The safety talk then equipment was first class.
We all had an amazing time and can't wait to rebook for another adventure.

Awww. Thank you so much. Looks like you went around the Wild Kids course! Yes, we do a lot of training, it's so important to get things right. We look forward to seeing you again!

Visited here with my daughter & very disappointed.

Found the staff unfriendly & lacking in customer experience. I’ve visited Go Ape several times & their staff do their best to make every moment of the experience including the safety instructions engaging & fun. At Wildwood I felt the orders were barked at us.

The lady who tightened the harnesses took it to the extreme, she seemed obsessed with tightening the harnesses as much as possible until they were painful on both myself & my daughter and cutting into out legs. I rock climb and own my own harness so know that they were unnecessarily tight. Again other climbing rope centres do not take this approach. I put it down to inexperience or improper training.

It’s a shame as the course is very well laid out, easy to get to and in a great location but based on the lack of customer experience I’d choose Go Ape next time.

We've brought the kids here many times and I'm writing this from the venue as we've brought a group with us. Well set-up with various courses, it's always fun and all the staff are brilliant. Superb location too if you want an activity day as it's next to the Lido and over the road from the Spectrum
