The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse, our beautiful gallery spaces are set over two floors and display a range of exciting contemporary fine art, sculpture, original prints and jewellery, quality craftsmanship and design led homewares. The Biscuit Factory hosts four major exhibitions a year, representing the work of around 250 artists each season, so there is always something new to see every time you visit.

Superb hunky chunky rainbow salads combined with a genuinely great service. I am loving the new outlay and the potentiality of that 'soon to be' balcony. On this occasion, we were tempted by the huge range of home made gelato; Almond and orange ice cream and Mango sorbet. What you get to taste is smooth dairy and the fresh fruit... More

Easy to get to and convenient to City Quayside as well as Ouseburn area. Well laid out medium sized gallery. Worth a visit. Interesting with a handy café too.

This gallery is a must for everyone - there is a good balance of both fine and a applied art and the gallery displays pieces in an accessible way encouraging the visitor to engage with the work. There is a huge variety of work from jewellery to painting so you are sure not to be disappointed.

Some very talented artists display and sell their wares via this gallery. Even with empty pockets is worth a look round. Café also excellent fresh and reasonably priced food.

Alright for a quick walk around but probably wouldn't have bothered with the walk if we'd have know what it was like. However, the cafe/restaurant looked nice.

Visited this venue as part of a corporate event and expected a dingy warehouse with a few powerful lights. This place is absolutely amazing the transformation of the building to an open and well lit gallery across two floors is quite something. The dining area was also very cleverly incorporated into the building. Fantastic venue for many kinds of event... More

As a wedding vendor, the staff were absolutely fantastic, very attentive, efficient and polite, nothing was too much trouble, I was even asked if I wanted anything from the shops as I was busy. The meal was perfect, and served very quickly considering the size of the party. As a customer looking for a venue for your party, you will... More

This was our first visit to the Biscuit factory and we loved it. We were able to take our time and enjoy looking at the original art on display. We will return here when we next visit the city.

We have ate here on several occasions. It has a small menu on a Sunday which is nice as it helps maintain the quality of the food they serve. You have to book in advance as it is a very popular venue for diners.
