Good to see the Manics however despite being Neewcastle's largest music venue the sound is still poor even after all these years. It's a bit like going on holiday and being robbed at the airport £25 for a t-shirt and warm over priced junk food...More

On arrival at the Arena there were long cues waiting to get inside this was because of the security searches through ladies bags (anyone without a bag could walk straight in.) On reflection this was a small inconvenience as it made one feel safer ....More

Went to see Michael McIntyre (who was excellent!) There were increased security checks, including bag searches and body checks on entering, so assuming this is now the norm give yourself extra time to get in (i think it took us about 20-25 minutes to get...More

My Partner and I visited this weekend to watch Michael McIntyre. We were both extremely surprised at the rudeness of the staff outside searching bags and scanning you, they were literally shouting at you. Bearing in mind we paid around £62 each for the show,...More

Came to see Michael McIntyre. Was good show but seating is rubbish and faces the middle rather than the stage. Had a serious crick in my neck by end of show. Food and drink horrendously overpriced. Won't rush back.

Went to see Morrissey here. Music great but venue old and tired, but the acoustics are miserable, rubbish. Wouldn’t come back for a concert.

Good question. Not sure as when we’ve attended we never had to leave and come back. There will probably be a stamp system in place though

We went to the arena last Friday, parked 2 mins walk away on a road and it was free it’s called railway street, there’s a pub on the road called the globe. We got there about 4pm and parked up so.
