Interesting - welcome to get close up to exhibits or even inside with permission.

Please understand that the museum is a private collection. It used to be a good place in years past for meetings etc and 'Grandma' would provide refreshments, but increasing H&S & Hygiene legislation made it not worthwhile. It is still family owned but the current generation perhaps hasn't the enthusiasm of the former? It is still woth a visit, but bear in mind it is not run as a serious commercial venture.

Visited here with our son who loves cars!

He was in his element as he was able to sit and try out to these old cars

It is a small museum we were only there for about 20 mins, but made a little boy happy.

Small but interesting car museum

Hall filled with a variety of cars. Not a huge amount of space to move between the cars but plenty to see for the enthusiast. Going to head back when the MK1 Escort is out the workshop!

So glad I only purchased this on Groupon! Took a 45 minute drive thinking this would be a good museum for our 5 year olds. When we turned up I thought the sat nav had took me to the wrong place!? There was 1 lad washing a brand new car outside not even an old car! Who asked if we were for the museum. He unlocked the door and said go through. It was a dirty dingy run down house with a garage. The garage had a handful of cars. Some old some only about 10 year old. No information. No one working there. No space inbetween cars. Cars were locked and scruffy. Literally in there 2 mins. Waste of time, petrol and money. Don't bother!

This was a great little find. I had no idea this place even existed until recently. It’s only small but the collection is very interesting and well worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic

This quirky little place made for a fantastic afternoon out for our family. I'm not sure I would class it as a museum but more of a collection of classic cars. If you are looking for somewhere to jog your memory of cars from years gone by then this is the place for you. From the original mini, the mark one fiestas to the ford puma, all the cars were magical to see. Our visit was made better by a lovely gentleman called John who has a couple of vehicles there and was explaining to my teenage son's about the cars and the differences between these and the cars of today. This place is an absolute gem and a must see for anyone with a slight interest in nostalgic cars.

Quirky, quirky little place

This is probably the smallest motor museum ever, but they make really good use of the space and there are some beautiful cars on display. Some are currently undergoing restoration so you can see them in various stages of completion. It won't take you long to look around but it's well worth a visit.

a hidden jem in newburn tyne and wear that houses a collection of aprox 40 cars that range from the 1920,s up to the 80,s situated in a historic ex territorial army drill hall . the museum is a working restoration facility with cars undergoing work from time to time. each car has a printed placard giving technical details of the exhibit. at present the museum is only open during week days so it is advisable to telephone and check before planning a visit. ask for mark when you ring to arrange to visit.
