We were in Newcastle for three days before we discovered this market place. It reminded us of markets from days gone by. There is so much on offer and it is worth visiting if only for the experience.

This reminds us of the Pike Place Market in Seattle or the Baltimore Public market. Large shopping area with stalls all under cover in a kind-of open air market. Fresh meats and vegetables, food stuffs and a variety of merchandise. Some restaurants, too. Lots of...More

The Grainger Market is located on the center. This is a beautiful little cover market. You can enjoy a drink inside or eat something or just walking and enjoy looking at the windows.

Went here with my sister. Had a wide variety of shops and places to eat. Managed to find a lovely little sweet shop that sold the sweets that I used to buy when I lived up there. X
