Flight Sim Centre is the North East's premier flight simulator centre based at Newcastle upon Tyne (near the Airport). With 9 very unique experiences; Boeing 737-800 Airliner, "TopGun" Fighter Jet, WWII Spitfire, Messerschmit Bf109 , Battle of Britain experience, Piper Cherokee, Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter, 4D Motion Car Racing and Virtual Reality Gaming. We also offer the following courses: Fear of Flying, Future Pilot, Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) Refresher, Commercial Pilot Sim Assessments. Experience the latest technology and fully immersive wrap around 4K visuals, combined with our friendly and professional Instructors - all with real flying experience.

What an incredible experience! Easy to book, everything on time, great directions and then the actual flight was fantastic. Neil was patient, thorough and encouraging.

we really enjoyed the visit, we had a lots of fun, I recommend it to everyone, the instructor was very good and explained the rules in simple language, we will definitely come back

I was given a 737-800 one hour experience for my 60th birthday. It was amazing from start to finish. My instructor Neil, was fantastic- very patient with an easy to follow delivery. The simulator is extremely realistic, and you “feel” everything. It was one of the best hours of my life. I highly recommend a visit. They have other experiences too such as a Spitfire, helicopter, racing car, and I believe Concorde will be available at some point in 2024.

My son did this and it was great fun for him, and also with us as passengers!! Instructor was really helpful and made it easy for him to understand what to do.

Bought the experience for my dad for last Xmas. Just used it now. He loved it and he’s done a bit a flying before. Different experience for him in the Spitfire. Instructor was great…clear instructions and friendly. Well worth it. Will go back for more.

Fantastic to hear, thank you. Maybe try the new Concorde simulator or coming soon the Lancaster!

My son did the Top Gun experience here tonight and it was brilliant. He came out with the biggest smile on his face. The instructor was really friendly and very knowledgeable. He knew how to push the boundaries on my son’s capabilities and it really paid off. We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

The experience was far better than I imagined. It was really realistic and Neil, the instructor was brilliant. The two hours went by in no time. On reflection, two hours wouldn't be enough. My wife sat behind and thoroughly enjoyed the flights too.
I learnt so much and and fully appreciate now what a great job the airline pilots do. I will probably be back to try a different simulator. Location easy to find just off the A1.

Excellent Topgun experience for my Son & I. Graham was a great host, knowledgeable & friendly, he took the time to ensure our experience was a memorable one. We will be visiting again as we still need to settle who's the better pilot. Me or My Son?

What a fantastic experience, I absolutely loved it. I flew the plane of my choice and everything was explained to me and I was given the opportunity to land and take off. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves flying. Very professional throughout. Brilliant !!

Hi, only on the 4D motion Racing Car Simulator, with is 10 years and older. In short you have to be able to reach the foot pedals.
