Nice church and interesting to see where Shakespeare and his wife are buried. Recommended three pound donation per adult. Right on the river Avon. Pretty, old cemetery.

There are no shortage of attractions in Stratford-upon-Avon competing for your attention but that should be the near the top of your list is the Holy Trinity Church. It is located a short walk - through pleasant grounds and on the banks of the River...More

Seeing the Bard's final resting place was quite moving. Beautiful church, set in lovely landscape by the Avon River. Be aware that you need to pay a 'donation' of a couple of pounds to view the graves (Shakespeare & family).

This church is divine. The grave of Shakespeare is inside the building but what makes this experience is the fact at how well the church has embraced the local tapestry of the arts. It is a credit to every one involved and the organ is...More

We walked along the river to this stunning church, looking at the beautiful lamp posts on the way. The garden with the out door stage is beautifully kept, no plays seen, but I imagine sitting watching in the sun would be bliss. The church yard...More

Let's be truthful in busy times Stratford down by the RSC is positively overrun and full of ice cream vans that make it difficult to 'feel' history. It's a different scene entirely if you make the effort to walk to this church which is beautiful...More

Beautiful situated at the banks of the river Avon. If you dare, visit the graveyard at night. Inside lots of little stories to discover about Shakespeare's life and the era he lived in.

You need to make a contribution to the upkeep of the church to approach William Shakespeare's tomb - buy who would begrudge that!
