Easy cycle ride for all family

10 mile round trip along level route from near race course to near Long Marston. Disappointing that parking is no longer free.

It is a lovely place to take the dog for a stroll along the old railway track via the racecourse from Stratford to Long Marston which in the old days went all the way to Cheltenham.

Make sure you have some change as you have to pay to park here, currently £2 for 4 hours so not too bad The cafe was closed when we arrived at 10, I believe it opened at 11 best to check, if like us your meeting friends on a cold and frosty morning Lovely place to walk, peaceful and pretty... The paths are surfaced and in reasonable state. The hedgerows are well kept. Downside is it's not a circuit, so it is back the way you came on dead flat path. Hedge is full of berries & bird life.

Really good walk, the train cabin cafe is simple but nice, you can also hire bikes if you want to. Great place to walk the dog, or tire the children out, with great views of the racecourse.

Hired bikes from Stratford bike hire and cycled along the greenway. Lovely time of year to cycle along a great area that's just for walkers and cyclists. Two little ex train carriages are along the way if you need a tea/coffee stop etc. Lovely ride through the leaves. Recommended 🍁🍂🚲

We use this off road route regularly for a variety of cycle rides. The route in itself makes a pleasant, flat, traffic free ride, with cafes in two places - you need to check the opening times. You can park for a small charge at Seven Meadows or Milcote. There is also limited free parking at the Long Marston end.... More

It is basically a long, long, long path! However it is reasonably well maintained and goes past fields and stratford racecourse which is very pleasant, particularly on a summers day. You can ride bicycles along here without any problems, and there is parking available too. It is strange that there isn't a cafe or snack bar around there as it... More

The walk around the disused railway is fantastic, an easy walk with mostly flat paths that you can follow. The scenery is lovely, lots of greenery and the architecture of the railway bridges and ironworks are cool to look at too. Shame that other people along the walk aren't as friendly. Would recommend that if you take a dog with... More

This disused railway line makes for an easy walk on a nice day. In wet weather the hardcore surface will mean it remains nit bad underfoot. At the Stratford end there is a pay and display car park. Open some days are a couple of old railway carriage cafes located along the track. The only thing for those that like... More
