Great value for money, lots to see, very helpful and friendly staff
Great value for money (some people forget that they have to pay for the staff and heating). Lots of different types of butterflies to see and a good collection of other animals, all looked healthy and happy. It was very clean and tidy too. Very helpful, knowledgeable and and friendly staff. Good shop. Looking forward to going back.

A really magical experience for all age groups
We spent the day in Stratford Upon Avon and this was one of the highlights! It is really magical to see all these amazing creatures around you. It was slightly crowded as we visited on a sunny Saturday in July, but even so, we enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended for all ages!

    Such a joy to visit
We really enjoyed our visit, which probably lasted about an hour. There are so many butterflies everywhere as soon as you enter the glasshouses. And so many species. It’s laid out very well and the plants and ponds are beautiful too. The information areas are fascinating and you can get very close to the insects - but no touching! It’s warm inside so there are hooks to leave coats etc. The staff are friendly, the toilets are clean and the shop contains some beautiful gifts. This is a lovely place to visit, and it was right next door to our hotel which was very handy. It was very busy at 11:30 on a Sunday morning in January, so arrive as early as possible perhaps.

    Impressive
This was an unexpected joy. We met up with friends and this had been all booked on line. I was not that excited, but have to mention that it was interesting and I learnt a lot about butterflies I didn’t know. It’s well organised, clean and when we did see the colourful butterflies all the girls were loving it. Actually, as far as different afternoons go this was a good one.

    Something a bit different
The butterfly farm is a small attraction but has something for everyone. There is a route for you to follow which keeps the people moving. Many butterflies were on display either stationary on plants or flying around. Their colours were amazing and photos were a must. We also saw the iguana resting on a branch of the tree and he was much larger than I had expected so we were able to get a good look however the birds were scarce and we only saw one! There is also a section of small creatures ranging from leaf ants to a number of obscure insects and invertebrates. We found this very interesting and the written detail by each tank was very informative. The cost to get in is probably in line with most attractions at the moment because of the overheads but we were happy to pay and all in all had a good time.

    Amazing experience
Had a lovely time at the butterfly farm, lots of gorgeous butterflies. The whole setup is breathtaking and can get hot so don’t take your coat in. There are also 2 ignunas and a mini beasts section too. Excellent value for money and gift shop reasonably priced too. A must visit if you are in the area

Small. Crowded. Not value for money but worth a visit.
This place is regarded as the UK's largest butterfly farm so this maybe gives the visitor an expectation for it to be bigger than it actually is. The butterflies are special and to have them flying around whilst you are walking the loop around the farm is a great feeling and you get to see some huge ones really close up. The place is very well maintained and the specimens are well looked after. It does get very crowded though and best visited during school term time as kids were running riot and making loads of noise which soured the visit somewhat. Kids will be kids of course but there were just far too many. All in all, if you are in the area then it is well worth the visit, but it is small (we were in and out within 30 minutes) and is overpriced in my view. Glad we went though as it is wonderful to experience.

Gorgeous butterflies - Poor customer service
The butterfly farm is lovely - a fantastic display of many types of beautiful butterflies - a couple of cheeky Iguanas and some awesome Koi. A super place to take your camera or smartphone camera as there are opportunities to capture inflight as well as feeding station shots. Our visit was spoilt by the poor customer service at the entrance - A computer says 'NO' mentality due to a QR code not having been emailed by the Tesco Clubcard scheme. The poor young staff were frightened that their boss would deduct their wages if they let us in with just the order confirmation printout. Thankfully a call to the clubcard help desk eventually resolved the issue otherwise there would have been 5 extremely dissatisfied customers who were being asked to pay twice.

Nice trip to the butterfly farm
The butterfly farm is walking distance from the town centre and is a good way to spend an hour in Stratford. There are lots of butterflies to see and some iguanas (if you can spot them). Admission is £8.95 per adult (we didn’t prebook and paid when we got there). There is someone to leave your coat before you go in and a gift shop. We enjoyed our visit.

A great place to see beautiful butterflies 🦋🦋🦋👍🏻
Great place to visit, plus informative and educational (if you’re prepared to read everything on display, which we were). Lots of different beautiful butterflies flying all over. Well laid out, and other insects etc can be observed too such as leaf cutting ants (we were mesmerised watching them all go back and forth working away!). Highly recommend a visit when visiting Stratford upon Avon.

Another wonderful visit to the Butterfly farm. We always visit when we are in town. Many thanks to Mark who made time to give us lots of information and facts. It was very interesting and definitely made our day. The new reptile house is amazing. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We decided to visit here for something to do. There isn't a car park here however over the road there is a good size car park which is reasonably priced. The entrance way is nice to walk. There is a place to hang your coats due to it being hot inside the main building were the butterflies etc are. There is some info about whether different butterflies are from on the wall. There is a small gift shop here to. Once you walk through the door into where the butterflies are it is quite hot with lots of butterflies flying around, lots of plants and decor and some feeding stations. There is some seating dotted around in some places. There is also some reptiles about in here as well as some leaf cutter ants. There is also another section when walking through which has some reptiles, insects etc in which is good to see. This is a nice place to visit

Everywhere you look there are butterflies! We had an amazing time and we were pleased because we spotted one of the iguanas. One of the staff members spoke to us about her, he was informative and kind he also served us at the till (sorry didn't catch his name!) Good value for money, we visited in the week to avoid any crowds.

Took my adult daughter to visit as loves butterflies. We were not disappointed. Wasn't crowded but was clearly popular. Lovely & clean. Well set out. Plenty of butterflies to see with a lovely mix of education too. Highly recommended

As butterfly lovers this was a lovely unique experience just near the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. The butterflies are all exotic but still of course stunning to see… and there are LOADS! You shouldn’t touch them but they may land on you anyway. Lovely.

Butterflies everywhere, you just can’t fail to enjoy. They will land on you, if you’re lucky.
Small venue but used extremely affectively.

A lovely place to view lots and lots of butterflies. Not an all day event, just an hour or so but we took loads of photos and wandered around a few times to make sure we had seen all the different kinds. We will be using the photos as inspiration for art projects so perfect for that.

What am amazing place. So pleased we went. Being the onlooker into the world of butterflies was a real honour, to see them flying, feeding resting etc. I loved every minute and will be going back when I visit Stratford next. The other animals there were also great to see especially the beautiful Chameleon and Cayman.

I fell in love with this place, there are so many butterflies and the plants are kept beautifully, there's a big pond with some amazing koi carp in there, some statues on display that link to another butterfly farm and butterflies everywhere. It's all so charming.

If you're a bit of a nerd like me, you might've played animal crossing, imagine the butterfly bit in your museum but bigger and real. It's awesome.

Shout out to the staff who were all welcoming and friendly, also a little practical advice don't wrap up too warm, it's kept warm in there for the insects so if you wear a big jumper you'll be a bit sweaty.
