Saw the very excellent Seven Acts of Mercy at the weekend and it was soooo good. It really got to me and I felt very moved by it. Was so impressed with all of the actors. Particularly TJ Jones, such a talented young actor, and Tom Georgeson. Felt very lucky to have happened upon such an excellent production. Worked so... More

We visited The Swann Theatre on 12.11.16 to see The Rover. It was absolutely brilliant. The play grabs you from the very start with the carnival atmosphere and colorful costumes. The plot develops with a range of Shakespearian style love triangles. The actors were excellent and gripped the plot with sheer enjoyment. The whole thing held our interest from the... More

We visited here to watch The Rover and loved every minute of it. The layout is really good and it feels really cosy inside. The bar has some excellent wine choices too!

We went to see "The Rover" at the Swan which is part of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The story took place during carnival time, and the carnival atmosphere pervaded throughout. The acting, singing and dancing were superb, and the play was lusty, bawdy light-hearted fun and most enjoyable. If it were to come to London, I would love to see it... More

We was passing the swan theatre while we was having a stroll around on our 5 day break to stratford upon avon and saw the poster advertising the exhibition. It was a really good exhibition with a fair amount of costumes on display as worn by famous actors. They is also a few interactive things to do which is fun... More

Visited Stratford for a spontaneous weekend break and happened upon The Rover mostly because we love The Swan as a venue. What a wonderfully riotous and entertaining performance! Having seen The Alchemist in July it had a lot to live up to but did not disappoint in any way at all. If we didn't live so far away I'd be... More

The Swan is the smaller theatre, seats on 3 sides. We sat on gallery 1 , B 25,26. Fantastic seats and view. We saw the two noble kinsmen- a late play written in collaboration with Fletcher. Not a great play but an excellent production, very funny in parts. With the seats it was great. We ate in the restaurant on... More
