My friend and I visited to see the upstairs exhibition and we had a fantastic time. A must-see for both lovers of Shakespeare and of the theatre, it gives some fascinating insights into the creative process behind staging Shakespeare's plays and how different directors have approached the task of modernising and adapting the productions for different audiences. If you have... More

One of the best theatre productions I have ever seen. I was so impressed with the quality of acting, stage design, music, and location. I know the next time I go to the theatre I want to go here again. H and I went to see "The Seven Acts of Mercy" a play juxtaposing Caravaggio painting this seminal piece of... More

Saw an amazing play at the theatre, but this is a revue of the theatre. We were in the Swan which I love and have been in before. I love the RST in general and the Swan in particular, I'm no cultural historian but it's unusual design (for today) feel more authentic. We sat in A8 & 9 which are... More

If you get a chance to take in a show, the Swan Theatre is definitely worth visiting. The setting is intimate yet awe inspiring and the RSC really know how to put on a show. You will not be disappointed.

The swan is attached to the main RSC theatre, it is in the design of an original round theatre like the globe in london, but it is a totally seated area, it has the ability for very modern staging and no matter where you sit the views are very good. We booked last minute and got two excellent seats in... More

This production was a riot of fun and the theatre is both intimate (close to stage and actors) but also grand (creates a wonderful environment) AND with reasonable prices you can afford. Highly recommend a trip here.

Seeing Justin Audibert's The Jew of Malta and Iqbal Khan's Othello at the Swan Theater in 2015 felt like a lifetime achievement. Witnessing theater here was a climactic event of my fist ever vacation, and I will always remember the power of this place.

Afternoon performance on 28 January. So, back at the Swan with it's thrust stage, intimate size and immersive experience. There is nowhere to hide in this performance it just attacks your senses in terms of the rage in the performances, the "modern" language and the (semi) nudity. All right from the "get go"! Having "grown up" with Tom Georgeson and... More

The Swan Theatre we have visited a number of times since it is quite local to us and have seen some truly brilliant theatre there. If it is still on The Rover was slick, extremely funny well acted with a great script. Not so two noble kinsmen- we saw today on a bleak day in Stratford. The two male leads... More

We have been to The Swan several times to see a variety of productions. The shape of the theatre, where the seating wraps around three sides of the stage, and mutiple entry points for performers, make this a very intimate venue.
