Thoroughly enjoyed seeing a play in this lovely theatre. The interior is great, creating the idea of theatre in the round. The seating surrounds the stage on three sides and you really feel a part of the drama.

Great theatre experience inside is seated out as you would find in the globe but a covered space- everyone has a good view & hearing of the stage & actors

The production of The Hypocrite is a joy. Mesmerising acting by each member of the cast, a rip-roaring, clever production. I sat at the side of the stage which is somewhat more comfortable than the seating on upper levels! Although, very draughty, so wrap up...More

The Swan is the RSC's second theater. Smaller and more intimate than the main theatre, with about 460 seats (compared to just over 1,000), it presents works by Shakespeare's contemporaries, and new works. From Wolf Hall to Snow in Midsummer, the new productions are often...More

Wonderful theatre, almost in the round. Next door to the main RSC theatre and internally connected. Some good prices for plays if you are flexible about when you can go. We had front row seats in the stalls for Snow in Midsummer for £5 each...More

My friend and I visited to see the upstairs exhibition and we had a fantastic time. A must-see for both lovers of Shakespeare and of the theatre, it gives some fascinating insights into the creative process behind staging Shakespeare's plays and how different directors have...More

Saw an amazing play at the theatre, but this is a revue of the theatre. We were in the Swan which I love and have been in before. I love the RST in general and the Swan in particular, I'm no cultural historian but it's...More

If you get a chance to take in a show, the Swan Theatre is definitely worth visiting. The setting is intimate yet awe inspiring and the RSC really know how to put on a show. You will not be disappointed.
