Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We didn’t buy anything but went in for a browse and the man seemed very lovely! Just to be warned there are stairs and no accessible option however there is stuff to look at on the ground floor :)

This antique centre is located on the pedestrianised street just along from Shakespeare’s birthplace. We were pleased to see that all the stalls were still occupied and full of interesting items. Unfortunately we didn’t find anything we wanted on this visit but will definitely call in again when in the town.

After initially not finding the shop we found out it was above the jewellery shop and about 7 different rooms of antiques of all sorts and reasonably priced with pleasant staff.

I visited with my parents, both in their 70s, my father waiting for knee ops and my mother having very limited mobility is incapable of climbing stairs.
All of the antique ‘rooms’ are up a narrow staircase and there is no disabled access. Having checked the website there is no indication that the antiques are not situated on the ground floor. Vinyls are on the first floor, but we weren’t interested in them.
No disabled access - shame on you Henley Street Antiques Centre! What a waste of a 40 mile round trip.

Not sure about the Thai massage on the second floor, but the series of small rooms on the first floor offer a cornucopia of delights. Jewellery, crockery, furniture, silverware, even Art Deco sculpture. I spotted a painting by local artist Harry Charles TIm and an impressive framed print by Stephen Bartlett. Struck too by a black Wedgwood coffee set comprising pot, six cups and saucers. Even a vinyl record store. A slightly musty smell and mildly uneven floors add to the atmosphere.

Nice to wander around looking at the various curios, some things from my childhood now classed as antique/collectible, some things a bit pricey, mostly the same sort of stuff you can pick up anywhere

Quite a variety of antiques across two floors. Not as interesting as some of the others just outside town.

A series of different rooms over two floors. Some furniture but the real focus is on small decorative items, ceramics, silver, ornaments, jewellery and the like which are displayed in glass cases. There are also paintings and vinyl records.
I can imagine it as a base for the tv programme Bargain Hunt as, while some things appeared overpriced, others looked like real bargains.

Great store for second-hand vinyl. Good variety of genres. This part is surrounded by antiques for all tastes and prices.

First of all I am sorry I could not respond sooner. Yes, we do buy certain furs. It depends on the condition and on the animal.
If you are able to call in Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays we would be happy to take a look. Alternatively you could send pictures to 07768 250598.
Regards, Stephen
