- Puppsie RUnited Kingdom155 contributionsNice run around for pupsVisiting family and came here to watch my hooman cousin play hockey. Had a nice walk around the park which was puppy friendly and able to go off lead, for well behaving pups. I was tied to the fence whilst the grownups watched the hockey which was a bit boring for me - I’m sure I would have made a great addition to the team!Visited March 2023Written 25 March 2023
- Travel26358567887Birmingham, United Kingdom3 contributionsSt Nicholas ParkLovely day at Warwick park today. Had a little miss hap with the ice cream/sweet shop in St Nicholas park. Kids ordered an ice cream swirl which tasted abit off. Took back to the young lady behind the counter whose attitude could only be described as vile. No helpful at all and very rude. Luckily I asked to talk to her manager who was great and handled the situation professionally and kind so thank you for that, much appreciated. A little kindness goes a long way in this world.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 June 2023
- Rosetogo36 contributionsGreat day out for kidsVery nice park, with easy parking (although entrance signage could be improved). Good play area and paddling pool, and a small crazy golf (not free). A basic cafe. Lots of people brought picnics. Great fun fair, not too expensive. So much to do, some free, some reasonably priced. A really good day out.Visited August 2023Written 18 August 2023
- ChrisHinckley, United Kingdom876 contributionsGoodWe were in the area and decided to visit here. The car park is quite big and was very busy, we managed to find a space and the parking charges are ok, bit pricey, but with the time of day we arrived we only had to pay for an hour as the car park is free after 6pm. They had the 'Sausage & Cider festival' in the park. The park is nice to have a walk around with the river going through it. There are some kids rides which only operate for certain times of the year which is a shame. There is a play area for kids which has quite a few things to do. There is a cafe and some toilets here. There is a large field to walk as well as crossing the river there is a fishing pond and another car park which for the park. Overall this is a nice place to visitVisited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 September 2023

Nice walk around the park and able to let the pup off lead. River, ducks and hockey pitch along with a cafe make this a good place to visit

Parked here on a trip to Warwick, lovely park and gardens, right by the river with nice walks, there is a cafe with lovely ice cream, only down side today was the toilets were out of order and it was a long walk to the leisure centre for another. Worth a visit

We had a few hours to spend and went to the park after it was recommended to us. We didn't get to explore all of it as we had an excited small child with us who wanted to try everything. It wasn't too busy despite being in the summer holidays. The cafe, small paddling pool, play area, small crazy golf, and small fairground rides are clustered together. With space to spill out for play ball games, or fly a kite as we did. The fairground rides operate on a card system that you put money on to then spend. Unfortunately there are things then interspersed between the rides which need £1 A palace to pester power. Looking forward to another visit to explore the rest of the park.

Very unhappy with my visit too the fun fair with my children one having sensory issues and my children and myself were both spoken to rudely by more than one member of staff! No people skills what so ever! All young staff with no manners. Working with children can’t even crack a smile also blatantly engorged my children when speaking to them. This is not all staff but most of them. Definitely all need training! Ruined the visit!

If I park in mytton fields, is the young chap with the boat still operating a ferry or do I have to walk round. We have very fond memories of the little boat, and I now want to bring my granddaughter

Sorry I’ve only just seen your question. I’m afraid I don’t know that but I’m sure if you made a call to the warwick council they would tell you. X

Yes it is but the fair ground rides and the crazy golf do have admission prices but you can get those details of their website.

As has been said before, there are a few benches in a fenced off area by the fairground (ideal if you need shade), but there are also some by the play area, which have a much better view of the park. There are plenty of benches with a great Riverside view too.

Are dogs allowed?
OriginalBowsa

I don't know if there is supposedly a ban, based on the response above, however there is constantly people walking and playing with their pups in the park, and from memory dog poop bins around the park.
I'd think as long as you're responsible and your dog is under control then their should not be an issue....... a quick google bought up the link below, which states dogs are not allowed in the paddling pool (which makes sense), and on the warwick district council site states dogs are allowed in all Warwcik district parks
