About
We first opened our doors in July 2014 in what was formerly part of the old post office in West Street, Warwick. We have created a pub that has become part of the local community as well as a destination for visitors. We are a traditional yet quirky pub, with friendly staff, an inclusive atmosphere topped off with a great range of beers and ciders. We are proud to be a free house which means we are able to source our beers and ciders from wherever we choose. You will not find any generic beers from big breweries behind our bar, instead we strive to serve an interesting range of beers from smaller independent breweries, both local and from further afield. We serve a changing selection of up to six cask ales and have been awarded a number of CAMRA awards since opening including Heart of Warwickshire Pub of the Year 2020. Alongside the casks we have three changing keg taps of craft beers brewed around the UK and a selection of real ciders. We are Dog Friendly!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great ales and cider, a great vibe and a welcoming atmosphere (thank you Tony at the bar!). Actually loathe to post this review for fear of it being overwhelmed by visitors! Felt at home immediately and haven’t had such an enjoyable early evening in a pub in a very long while.

Stayed in Warwick and spent a lovely couple of hours in the old post office, dropped lucky with live music on (Saturdays 3–5pm), great range of drinks and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Great pub, recently had a refurb (Nov/Dec 2023 I think) to add a little more space. Only a few seats and tables, but a nice area up past the bar area.
It is a real ale type pub with different local ales on cask, some farmhouse ciders and Belgian beers in the bottle. But of course some wine and normal spirits etc. No Carling, blaring music or gambling machines in here. If that’s what you want, go elsewhere.

A superb little 'bolt hole' and a magnet particularly for lovers of real ale (such as me). Extremely friendly boss and staff. A great selection of beers in perfect condition. A lovely atmosphere, quirky decor. All in all a perfect pub!

Great staff, and dog friendly. If you are looking for a pub after walking your dog across fields and swimming in local rivers this is the place for you and your furry friend to unwind with a lovely local beer in hand. Large groups of dog's welcome which is refreshing.

Good beer, friendly locals. Whilst I like quirky, there may be a bit too much 'stuff' gathered in the front of the establishment in terms of 'decoration'. Worth and visit and will definitely go back when next in the area.

Quirky drinking establishment just on the outskirts of Warwick. Very good selection of beers and very relaxing ambiance.

A fantastic pit-stop to give my furry companion a bit of a rest after her walk, and what a great choice! Genuinely dog-friendly, really interesting decor, and super-tasty beer (I prefer the unusual, so the rhubarb margarita gose was right up my street! 🤩).

Miles better than the sterile, identikit chain bars, my new go-to pub for my next trip to Warwick!

Top place as ever. Quick pint after the races and as usual I managed to make a barrel go! Replacement pint was lovely. Nice staff, recommended.
