Went for the Christmas Wassail, a now annual tradition, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The theatre itself is large enough to allow for a good professional production but small enough to be intimate and let all of the audience feel a part of the show. The...More

We went to the Christmas Wassail on Monday 17.12.18 with two friends and it was our first visit to the Theatre. We had mulled wine and mince pies in the bar area and then the performance was on from 7.30pm to 10.15pm with a short...More

Lovely little theatre that I didn’t even know existed until I booked tickets for the show. Seats around 300. Plenty of leg room, unlike some theatres. Bar was reasonably priced. Parked in the q park behind. £8.80 for 3.5 hours!! Hardly any street parking on...More

The Crescent is a great little theatre near Broad Street. The view from all seats is excellent. Lovely small bar at reasonable prices.
