There is nothing special about this station although, having said that, it does still retain a feel of how stations were in the age of steam. There used to be an old steam engine here but that has been removed. ( I am happy to,say that it has been bought and has been taken to be restored so it has... More

We are regular users of Moor Street as we use it to get to some of the places that we volunteer at in The Second City. We probably travel to or from there three days a week. We love the “human scale” of the restored building – it does not overwhelm you as many “glass & concrete” places do. There... More

Since I had time to wait, I stopped for a hot drink and a chat to various people doing the same. Bit draughty, but then, it is a station! Aren't Birmingham people friendly? Felt very welcome in a short space of time.

This place is quite remarkable really. In the Modern age, this place takes you back to an era when Train companies and their employees took pride in the appearance of their stations. Which is even more remarkable when you realise that this is not part of a historic Railway run by enthusiasts, it is a working Mainline Station in Britain's... More

A beautiful restoration of a station that was looking like a candidate for closure. The coffee shop is lovely. A stone throw from the Bull Ring shopping centre and bus links to other parts of the city.

Its like stepping back in time coming into this station. It feels much friendlier than any of the newer stations and staff were very helpful and patient. I loved this spot - even if I wasn't going anywhere

Moor Street has shades of brief encounter about it and it has been sympathetically restored - if you are in the Bull Ring it is worth a quick check over if you've never been and a must for railway buffs!

Catching the23.30 on Friday evening I was appalled at the treatment of the passengers. There were so many people on the platform that it was obvious not everyone would get . They kept on asking for people to move down the train and stop talking but it was pointless. We were then told to get off this train due to... More
