Great time
Oct 2021
Had a brilliant time here yesterday with my 6 year old son. Didn't really know what to expect but we had such a good time. The cinema was great, the extra effects took us by surprise and we couldn't stop laughing.

Went on the rides a couple of times, built cars, played in the soft play and even he was in awe of the mini city layout.

Our ticket was for 1pm and we left at 4 but could have easily have stayed longer.

I understand the reviews from people saying it was hard to build from the disjointed pieces of Lego there but we found you just had to have a bit of a rummage.... it must be very hard for the staff to keep all those thousands of pieces in any sort of order!

I would rather not have paid 3 for a squashed Cornetto in the cafe, but it wasn't the end of the world :)

It was fairly pricey for the tickets but I think it's worth it as long as you stay for a few hours :)

Slightly better than standing on an upturned Lego brick. But only slightly.
At first everything seemed great. Staff friendly, the first ride was a very fun shooting game, where you’re ferried around in a carriage shooting a mixture of static targets and animated screens. Then you go into a very well put together Birmingham-centric display, with some fun interactive exhibits.

Thats where the two stars come from. After that - meh. Theres an above average kids soft play and a below average one for the under 5s. Of course parents don’t care which kids go where so it all becomes chaos. Watch out for flying oversized lego bricks. I didn’t. Lesson learned.

If your kids want to make something from lego, they can. So long as they’re happy making it from dregs and odds and sods and broken parts. Should they have any sort of actual creative vision, they’ll be left frustrated by the lack of matching or linking pieces needed for coherent designs.

Overall, the whole thing isn’t close to being worth half the price you pay.

Not sure what to expect-was brilliant!!
A pleasant surprise! We arrived not really sure what to expect. Our slot was booked for 3.30pm we arrived about 15 mins early and was ushered through.
The first thing you do is a ride on a mini train following a story and you have a laser gun to shoot at characters, this lasts about 5 mins but is quite fun.
Next you are ushered through a mini village of local landmarks made of lego. There are moving parts so you can race the canal boats, play football and joust at Warwick Castle. The attention to detail is amazing and the room changes from day to night view.
Then you enter a large hall which was very busy! It is split into different areas which you can move between freely!! Three of the areas are for building your own creations and you can enter a competition to win prizes. There are a couple of test tracks where you can test vehicles and see who’s is the fastest.
There is another ride in this area which we had to queue for about ten minutes. It’s fun but I would imagine over 10’s would be unimpressed!!!
The 4D cinema is brilliant. It looked shut but I asked about it and was informed of the next show time and what was showing. The film lasts about 10 mins and is well worth it.
There is a small Softplay to keep the kids close by while waiting for the cinema to open.
The creative workshop costs extra (£5) but you get to take home what you make (unlike the other areas). We wanted to do the cinema first so was told to buy a pass after the film (you have to go back downstairs) when we went to purchase it we were told the last session had finished, however the lady in the shop must have seen the disappointment in my sons face and arranged for us to have a private session!!! Brilliant customer service!!! My son and and I both got to make a frog, the lady running it was brilliant and very patient when he wanted to go off piste and create it his own way!!!
We finished about 5.30pm which left half an hour to explore the gift shop and we needed every minute as there is lots to choose from including build your own lego figures!
We bought the tripe ticket (with entry to Sealife & Warwick Castle) and thought it was excellent value for money.

Not worth the the money

Absolute rip off. Left with disappointed kids - 1 1/2 hours and it’s done. Much better value next door at the sea life centre

Brilliant family fun!

Wow what a fantastic time we had with our two small children (4 and 7). Nothing was overcrowded and we could use everything multiple times! The Creative Workshop is excellent value for money, it's only £5 and the children get to keep what they make! Big shout out to the leader Destiny who was outstanding! Would highly recommend this fabulous experience!

Good for a couple of hours, nicely laid out
Aug 2021 • Family
Nicely laid out, our 9 year old liked it very much, especially the building area. Not really enough to keep our 12year old entertained for more than 1.5 hours though. It has 2 small rides, but the main attraction for us was the free build area. Quite expensive for the amount of activities available.

Not worth the money
Aug 2021 • Family
Very expensive. I tried to use Cadbury special offer ticket but unfortunately they had blocked several dates including weekends so dates were limited when we could use the coupon. Full price paid we were very disappointed on the size of this attraction. It is literally one Lego room. A couple of little Lego rides , a 4D cinema. The workshop you have to pay extra for , a duplo section for under 5s so I have to be brutally honest it’s not worth the money. I think Merlin could have tried harder with this attraction. It’s designed for children but with this in mind staff could have been a bit more enthusiastic, uniforms could’ve been more fun and maybe Lego characters wondering around . A child’s point of view I suppose it’s ok but accompanying adults were standing around scrolling through their phones. Just Lego building to do and we spent just under 3 hours there. On the plus side my son won a dragon building challenge and won a goody bag so that totally made his day. Car park is very close - 1 min walk and place very clean. Enjoyable shop on the way out.

Great day out with kids
Aug 2021 • Family
I visited with me two children 7&2. I was actually shocked at how polite and friendly the staff were. Rides and cinema were very good. Spent 4 hours here and could of easily spent more. Only down side is there was not many ‘useful’ bits of Lego to build the ninjas or cars however we arrived at 12 so this may be used or moved by other children. Would definitely visit again.

Overpriced
Overpriced for what it holds. Was interesting but had to pay for extras on site as well. Better suited to children of 4-8 I would say. Mine were 10 & 12 and were bored very quickly. Was worth a look. Only a few hours entertainment. Hard to find too. You need to look for sea life signs and you'll eventually find the Lego land nearby

Amazing!
Amazing day out with kids! Visited last week with my 3 year old daughter and 11 year old nephew who both loved it as did I! There's rides, soft play, Lego activities and a 4d cinema so lots to keep little ones occupied. There's even scale model of Birmingham made out of Lego that is fully interactive for kids. There's a little cafe in the centre of everything so parents can sit down with a coffee and still keep an eye on the kids as they play. Worth every penny!
