Flawless acoustic big names beautiful building. I've seen the best artists here, everyone from Ravi Shankar to Kiri te Kanawa. Joan Armatrading to Jose Carreras. Only negative was disappointing vegetarian food.

Visiting orchestras put on a very wide range of concerts. They range from The Proms to more high brow recitals. All of the orchestras and opera singers are world renowned. For £40 or so you can hear the best music available.

Normally around ten but I'd check with the venue. We took the train and got the 10.30 no problem
