Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I walked past the stock exchange building. I couldn’t get any pictures because it was pouring out. It looked like a cool old historic building.

Located on the junction of Newhall Street and Margaret Street is the very imposing and impressive Stock Excelsior Building.
Opened in 1845 ,the building was home to the Birmingham Stock Exchange from 1928 till its closure in 1986 ,a superb Grade II listed building, the facade looks wonderful, I never ventured into the building but I was suitably impressed to stop and admire and take a few photos before moving on.
Easy to locate along Margaret Street, most definitely well worth a look of this building if you're in the area.

Sorry but the photographs are NOT of the Stock Exchange Building. The Stock Exchange building was 33 Great Charles Street and is on the corner of Margaret Street and Greet Charles Street. It is VERY near where you took your photos but right behind you. The building you have taken photos of is the back of the Birmingham Council House. The building in your photos is actually called Water Hall because it was where the company that ran Birmingham's water services were based (sewers etc) and they collected the Water Rates in this building.
