Not as impressive as other major city cathedrals but worth a visit for the Burne Jones windows. A city centre hidden gem

Wonderful cathedral in the centre of town opposite Snow Hill Station and on Colmore Row where most bus services stop. Very beautiful inside and out with helpful staff - they even gave me a bible. Nice grounds with scattered outside seating. Definitely worth a look...More

We were greeted by a very enthusiastic member of the clergy who was happy to explain the history of the building to us.The pre-raphaelite stained glass windows are particularly impressive. Unlike some cathedrals, they don't ask for payment to look around.

I have been in many Cathedrals large and grand with statues and a wealth of gold. This one was small and exquisite - not the norm.

Do take time out to visit this small cathedral in the city centre. Surprising Italianate interior with many decorative columns. The windows do not disappoint they are truly glorious; the colours and style so intense. Enjoy.

We were staying close by and walked through the grounds which are also on the small side. The building is very picturesque and looks cared for, It is in the heart of the city and easy to find.

This beautiful building is well worth a visit - there must be a reason why it is right in the heart of the city! The windows themselves are worth making a visit worthwhile, and there is a real sense of peace when you enter the...More

We visited Birmingham Cathedral for a Sunday morning service. A very warm welcome on a very wet day, and after the service, an informed unrequested guided tour of a fascinating building.

A small, and pretty normal cathedral stands at the middle of the park. Not really impressive to visit.
