In the centre of the city and in a pleasant grassy and railinged square, criss-crossed by busy footpaths, the cathedral is extremely welcoming. Evensong on Sunday was beautifully sung by men and boys, with truly excellent psalm singing. The choir is well schooled and the organ voluntaries were also of a very high order. None of the congregation moved till... More

I finally get inside this very nice church, it seems to be always closed. However, its worth a visit, the altar area and the stained glass windows are amazing. At the entrance a priest gave us a paper with the history and all the information about the church.

Was nearby so had a look. Is quite imposing and impressive from the outside Understood the stain glass windows were good, which they were. However the rest of the interior was not very impressive

While walking in the city visited to see the cathedral. I was not impressed. It looks very big from outside. The interior not impressed. Is nothing special to be after.

This is a modest size with an interesting history. The principal features are the unusual stained glass windows which date to the arts and crafts movement.

The baroque architecture adds to the charm of this cathedral. Yes it's smaller than expected , but the setting, The stained glass windows and the welcome on entering , makes this space feel special. Surrounded by Garden this is a little oasis of calm amongst the bustle.

Breath taking baroque architecture with the most exquisite stained glass. Large garden all round. Plenty of place to sit back and take in its beauty.

An unusually small cathedral in comparison to its counterparts elsewhere, the cathedral may be easily overlooked and mistaken for or generic church from afar. However, it is well worth a visit for its stained glass windows, and only 10 minutes walk away from the Birmingham New Street Station. Admission is free of charge, and allows visitors to warm and dry... More
