An interesting visit today. There is so much to see, admittedly we didn't see everything. The range of books, music genre, audio books etc is vast.

What a building! Never before have I seen fairy lights put to such good effect! The Shakespeare room & view point at the top are definitely worth the 150 step climb. The Secret Garden (which isn't so secret...) offers a fab view of the city.

Impressively spacious and airy the library induces a very calming influence. Great views over the city from the upper floors which include outdoor gardens. At the very top is the unique Shakespeare Memorial Room. Go and be inspired!

This is a library fit for the 21 st Century,...More
