Fascinating place, well recommended, interesting angles on social history .... It's a Victorian industrial building, with steep staircases, but a (modern) lift has been added ..!

enjoyed going here and finding out a lot about the Newman brothers plus about the city centres history, and last of all Ask for the tour guy Tim he knows his stuff and u can tell he loves doing his job well done pal

This is an interesting place to visit and our guide was excellent. However you need to know that coffin fittings and 'furnishings' are covered by this visit not the coffins themselves which was disappointing. There is a lot of history here and ample time was...More

Went with friends on Saturday aftetnoon. The welcome was lovely. Clocking in!! Great tour guide and fab tour. Really reccommend this as a great trip.

Me and my friend booked the tour for Sunday afternoon we where the only 2 on the tour so was like a private tour great guide Russel had us laughing through out it all . Very knowledgeable and a unique interesting little tour

Hi, the admission charge is £6.60 and the visit is a guided tour only which should be pre booked, there isn't much of a shop .
