Came here during school holidays, arrived at 11am and the multi story car park already full so had to trawl round Birmingham one way system looking for an alternative which took over 30 minutes! Moor Street Station not to far away and I really wish we had arrived by train! When entering the museum the queue was HUGE we waited... More

My husband & I took our 6 yr old granddaughter to the Think Tank during the half term holidays. My granddaughter enjoyed the day out even though several of the interactive displays weren't working. Some areas were tired looking & needed a coat of paint and a makeover. There is plenty to interest the children but my husband & I... More

We went with a couple of toddlers (2 and 5) and this place was ideal for them - they particularly loved the Train and the Water play table (very wet !). A lot of the attractions are interactive so there was plenty to keep them entertained, and lots to keep the adults interested too, a very good mix of "young... More

Been a couple of times now and as a family we love the place. Excellent parking next to the museum, reasonable charges too. Lots to see in the museum and it's really well spaced out. Lockers are available for £1. The water play area is fantastic and the science garden is worth a visit on the way out. Defo pay... More

Thinktank is excellent for children - our grandchildren aged 5 and 9 loved it! However, we visited in London half-term which is different from Birmingham so the food hall was closed (only open in school holidays and week-ends) resulting in us having to use a very small food outlet just outside the Thinktank entrance and quite frankly the guys could... We were really excited to come to the thinktank but were disappointed when we arrived. A lot of the interactive attractions were broken and the whole place looked run down. In need of a face lift and updating.

Good day out for all the family. We visited in half term and would advise getting there early as it got quite busy as the day progressed. Plenty of interactive activities for children of all ages. My child in particular enjoyed the outside science park and the city life exhibition. If you are interested in stars then the extra payment... More

We loved the Think Tank. It's very interactive and kept our 3, 9 and 32 year old entertained and we learnt lots! Our only gripe was the the planetarium show 'Little Star' was not scientifically accurate. Apparently Pluto and Solaris are planets, but we think not!

We spent most of the day here with our two boys. There was something for everyone. The children loved the vehicles and machines as well as the interactive activities. The human biology, outside features and planetarium were all great fun and we all learnt something new! I really loved the mechanical Things exhibition and seeing the chitty chitty bang bang...
