I've been on a few tours here. One was fantastic and very enjoyable. The other was terrible, and all the info didn't match the other tours I had been on. It really depends on how lucky you get with your guide.

Really, really good. Great guides who know so much. Incredible - how people lived, life expectecy. It was the guides knowledge that added to the dressed rooms and preserved buildings.

An excellent memory trail on which I was able to relive the visits to my Sistee and family in the 40s and 50s in Ladywood. Beautifully preserved

The tour guide was amazing-funny, knowledgable and genuinely interested in informing her group. The National Trust has done a great job here and it’s a good way to spend a couple of hours.

A terrific guided tour through three houses in different periods of history from the 19th century onwards. Our tour guide, Jeff, really brought it all to life with loads of fascinating details and anecdotes. We visited on a very cold, gloomy day, which added to...More

The tour leader was very knowledgable. The rooms were all in different times so you could see how things improved
