Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Party of three, the old man & two Lewis Hamilton’s racer’s !!! (One 28 & another 24 yrs of age) Booking online was easy & when we arrived registration was plain sailing.
Safety protocol beforehand so as stated arrive 30 minutes before your racing slot.
Had the track to ourselves which gave them no excuses.
First session wet which as with any other track makes it very interesting.
After a break second session track had dried out, very enjoyable experience.
Would have made it more interesting if there was a few more participants but then we’ve also been elsewhere when there’s twelve racing which tends to slow things down. Nice size track to great the adrenaline pumping.
Great couple of sessions, thanks John & the team.

What a find. When I was invited on a corporate event with an address just one mile from Birmingham City Centre I was expecting the usual circuit in an old warehouse. When I drove in I couldn't believe my eyes. This is a pupose built MSA Race Circuit with well kept super fast race karts called Birmingham Wheels Karting Centre - there is a bit of confusion but I think the company we raced with are called Grand Prix Karting and the site is Birmingham Wheels. They supply all the equipment and organise the whole thing for you including safety briefing and instruction etc.
Absolutely fantastic event, very well organised and easily the best I have been to in the UK. Was so good I recomended it to a friend and went back from London on their stag weekend. Another great event although a little more competitive than Barclays Capital!
Only problem was my satnav seemed not to recognise their postcode but although the area is pretty industrial it was not too difficult to find.

Birmingham Wheels International Circuit was a really nice and friendly place. 70mph ish karts which were great. Went as a stag group and we had a 5 min qualifying then 30 odd min race.
The track was very good, one of the best tracks I have raced on. The only disappointing thing was just a personal view that the additional corners config we raced on the international track (i think) took away from the race for me. I would have liked the straighter course with less corners not being a regular kart enthusiast .
Overall a good morning and lots of fun was had.

Replace the karts and update everything as it seems very old and outdated. The website is very old and does block booking few hours before the available time slot. Because of that you will loose your 10% discount. The karts are slow and accelerate very slowly. They claim it is up to 60mph but keep in mind that it is "up to". You will want to go home after the 1st race. When we mentioned that one of the karts is much slower than the others they did not even say a word... Clearly they don't want people to return. Don't waste your money on this as you can find other places that are much nicer and cheaper. Probably if you would bring your own kart then it would be fine.

Went with work and had an evening race at this circuit. The circuit is very large, with some great fast corners. I would reccomend a visit.

I competed here (my second visit) in a regional sports & social organisation's karting tournament.
Really good track layout with a variety of challenging corners and faster sections. I believe the karts have been replaced in the last few months and they are good.
I have my own helmet / overalls however the venue has this equipment on site (included in the fee) the overalls themselves seem very smart and in good condition compared to some other venues. Organisation is all very professional.
Good off-track facilities with ample parking and good spectator facilities, including a little club-house with vending machines. Nice little touch with a speaker system playing a bit of music, which adds to the atmosphere.
Well recommended

Possibly the worst go karting I have done.
Unprofessionally run and astonishingly expensive for any go karting let alone one of such poor quality.
We were on a stag doo and they were charging £80 a head for what was a decent length of karting but elsewhere comparably about £50.
What really hacked me off was that the go karts were so blatantly not maintained and were both completely inconsistent in performance and broke down numerous times, which spoilt the races.
Yes you are there for fun, but you want to be competitive and having 6 different karts conk out midway through a race is just unacceptable.
It wasn’t just this that was poor, but the way the staff dealt with it. They clearly hadn’t checked the cars were all fit to race before the races started and when they died halfway through a heat they couldn’t have been any less bothered and there was no sense of urgency to get you back racing.
Someone actually had 2 karts in one final race alone conk out!
Were they apologetic? Not at all. Did they offer a discount for this poor service? Nope.
Just another stag doo that won’t be back and so they couldn’t care less.
A real shame as I was in contention when my one of the 2 karts I had died so really it was just pot luck if you were in with a real change of winning.
There must be better karting places in Birmingham.

This is a real hidden gem in Saltley a mile east of Birmingham City Centre. I have been to lots of indoor centres with friends from work which were great but this place is absolutely amazing. Although more expensive it is well worth the extra and I think you actually get more time driving and therefore better value. On top of this the race circuit is four or five times the size and the karts handle well and are by far the fastest I have ever driven.
Although the place is in a bit of a run down, industrial area of the City once inside you are on a sort of private park (Wheels Adventure Park) with loads of free parking. The track is very fast and challenging and when lit up by bright floodlighting looks just like the Singapore F1 circuit! But the best thing of all is that the people working there are really friendly and we were treated like a cross between old friends and VIP's from start to finish. Be warned though that they stamp on any dangerous driving very hard, although given the high speeds I think this is probably sensible. It did pour with rain all night but with plumes of spray coming from the back of the karts I think it actually made the race even better.
Even though I didn't make the podium this time we have already booked again and would definitely recommend.

Visited this Circuit for the first time last Saturday and having raced at over 30 circuits it is certainly in the top 3 and possibly the best in the UK. The staff are very friendly although I felt a little over safety conscious for the regular driver, and the event was fairly and slickly organised.
The best thing about this Circuit is the Karts - they operate a fleet of Sodi Thunderkarts which are rarely used in the UK because of they are so expensive. I think the decision to run these has paid off because they are very fast, handle well and seem to suit the big circuit.
Unlike many race circuits the public areas are all clean and tidy and my only criticism would be that there is no on-site Cafe and only crisps, drinks etc available.

Minimum or maximum?
Min age is 8 years / min. height 4'0" (1.23m) for the cadet / club circuits.
Min age is 16 years / min height 4'9" (1.46m) for the national / international circuits.
There is no official max weight / height on the national / international circuits, it all depends on a number of factors, which basically come down to whether they are comfortable to get in and out of the kart and also their safety. In case of any doubt it would be best to arrange a viewing to see whether you could comfortably sit in a kart.
