We have visited a couple of times during the global pandemic. The 1st time is was very quiet and a pleasure to walk around. This time is was busy, and very stressful, due to many people walking around without masks inside (which is the law at the moment) and coming in close proximity to others. So I might hear you ask, why give Resorts World a bad review due to the people visiting it? Well, if I go to the Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, just down the road, security are challenging visitors to wear their masks and being ask to leave if they don't. Well, at Resorts World this wasn't happening at all. We didn't see any security during the time we visited, asking people to wear their masks. Plus in the shops no one was challenging them either. Yes I understand that some people have medical reasons why they can't wear a mask, but those people wear a lanyard with a sunflower on it to show they can't wear a mask. I saw 1 person wearing one. The rest didn't. Also in nearly every shop the hand sanitiser at the door was empty. So it looks like people are using them, but if you visit in the afternoon then you are out of luck, as they aren't refilling / replacing them. Therefore I advise you to bring your own. I have visited a number of places during the pandemic and I would have to say that this was the worst. People need to be educated that they need to wear a mask (and wear it properly) and if they haven't got a mask then they should be asked to leave (if they aren't exempt). This is for the health of the staff and the visitors. We will certainly not be revisiting Resorts World until they start challenging people to wear their masks or until after the pandemic.

We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your latest visit with us. We take guest safety and security very seriously and make every effort to ensure all of our guests are aware, including anyone who should forget on entry or while walking around our building, that masks are required by law. We also have regular signage throughout the building of the latest regulations and safety measures, round the clock cleaning, and plenty of regularly replenished hand sanitiser stations throughout the building. We are constantly reviewing our safety measures and all of your comments will be looked into by the relevant teams.

Too many closed down stores More shops need to be opened. The place is looking a little bit sad with no atmosphere. A special mention for the very annoying man in the Lindt chocolate shop who kept trying to oversell the products.

Hi there, we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience at Resorts World. Things are looking a little different in our outlet mall and there have been some changes. Some stores have relocated within the building and some have sadly left us. There’ll always be great brands to shop at great outlet prices but there are also exciting new things coming to see and experience, building on what we know our guests love to do.

Went last week and there were only limited shops open. We’ve been before the virus and still, it’s a little underwhelming. There’s a decent variety of shops but nothing special.
