The centre is very well run being both beginner friendly and having a lot to offer more experienced climbers. The route setting is varied with competition style climbs and more traditional outdoor style climbs across all grades.
I’ve been climbing here since 2020 and particularly in the last year, the diverse community, staff and training facilities have helped me improve significantly.
In terms of training facilities there is a dedicated training room with 3 different campus boards, two fingers boards with weight belts, beast maker micros, pull up bar, circuit wall and splatter board linked to Stōkt. There is also a moon board on site. All training facilities have recommendations / guides.

I started climbing here in April 23 as a total newbie. I turned up to the Weds Ladies night run by Tong. I was made to feel welcome and given help where needed. Tong is very kind and easy to get along with, making you feel comfortable when you are new. I now climb most weeks and really enjoy my time there. It is a friendly place with a great atmosphere and the staff are lovely too.

Love this place. i hate gyms so i come here and almost forget i'm exercising. the routes change often enough to keep regulars interested and plenty of routes for beginners to get the bug. The staff really make the place, always smiling, friendly and willing to give helpful advice. great coffee to when you need a break

Love The Ballroom climbing. I got hooked after the first session. Best part is, you can just turn up and climb. No booking necessary and no time limits.
Staff were so helpful, and everyone climbing seemed so friendly. Nobody was judgemental, and there are people from all abilities.

This place was fantastic, first time doing this activity. Went with family, 7 and 10 year old, the safety induction was good and clear. The environment was very well laid out, loads of different level types...price was good also, staff were great. A lovely lady gave our safety induction and Ewan? I think was really friendly and very helpful on the front desk. They were happy to answer any questions we had. Other users were friendly as well, a warm environment. Defo going again and do recommend to others.

I try to climb here twice a week and it's honestly one of the best indoor bouldering venues I've come across in the UK (after visiting a fair few)! There is a fantastic range of climbing styles from slabs to overhangs and everything in between. A different wall is set each week by various setters and the problems are constantly fun and good quality. I tend to climb V4-5 but there are plenty of easier and harder routes.
The staff are really friendly and approachable too, and happy to share beta.

Since first visiting the ballroom I have always felt a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The climbs are set in different levels so great for beginners and those who have acquired more skills! The boulders are often changed to so there is always more challenges for the next visit! This is my main bouldering venue and I really really recommend going. The price is very reasonable and you can get student prices too! A great and different date idea for you and your partner or you and your friends!!
