This is a really good place to go to stretch your legs with a whole variety of walks including woodland, lakeside and gardens. Great for dog walking and picnics. There are expanses of green suitable for playing games and a children's activity area. Look out for the special events like early morning bird walks. There is a good café and... More

We love coombe abbey. We are fortunately only 10 mins away so we regularly visit for family days. Take a picnic, have a little game of cricket, feed the ducks and let the kids on the monkey park before ice cream and home. I wouldn't travel miles to visit but if your near and fancy a stroll then it's worth... More

They have done a lot of work here upgrading the pathways to make the walks easier to follow and a lot less muddy. You can still go off the paths if you want to get a little muckier but on a winters day it is ideal for a nice afternoon stroll. The car park was a little flooded but still... More

Hi Julian Thank you for taking the time to review the park. Your feedback means so much. We took the chance during unusually mild weather to walk with our dog in this very pleasant country park. Sadly I am always very concerned about the usual charges for the car park which are expensive considering that in wet weather it is like a quagmire - puddles and mud everywhere and hardly a clean place to step out of... we visited on a wet winter day , delighted to find good paths to walk on, and peace and quiet. We have visited in the summer and found it overcrowded as the only fee is car park. Good for dog walkers and families

I really enjoyed walking around, feeding the ducks and playing in the play area. Coombe Abbey has such a wide range of activities to suit all ages. A play area for young children, a teenage rope course and a pond for people of all ages to feed the ducks and swans. I recommend it to anyone who loves nature
