Can't believe this is a student place it was really expensive for drinks. Smelly really bad they need to spruce it up a bit.

In Coventry on a business trip, I came across this pub right next to the hotel I was staying in. Staff are friendly, beer is nice, atmosphere is cordial and there are plenty of screens to watch a variety of sports. Didn't try the food but if you are nearby it is worth a visit.

Since the surrounding restaurants have not open till night, the Aardvard was a life savior. Odd name by the way, I had say this pub wins the "weirdest name" competition of the Midlands. Rather new and clean interior, friendly atmopshere, and a good selection in the food and drink menue. The kitchen is creative in solving problems of missing ingredients,... More

Spent two weekend nights in Coventry (Fri & Sat) staying at the Premier Inn Earlsdon Park. This public house is the closest one to the hotel (turn right from the hotel, cross the immediate road, go past the Indian Restaurants, then it's to your left on the corner) It was quiet(ish) on the Friday night but mad busy on the... I had food and a drink. I was ignored when I walked in. I had to look for someone to serve me. It was lunch time and the it was almost empty. My chips were warm and like cardboard. The pub smelled dirty. Would not recommend or visit again.

Visited here after being told nearby Riley's was unable to show the Scotland game due to it clashing with the England game. The staff at the Aardvark were happy to show us the game on some of the many TVs at the same time as the England game. As a result we enjoyed some very reasonably priced pints and a... More

Like many of the reviewers here, I was staying at the nearby Ramada and wanted some decent food and beer without paying a fortune. Without doubt the Aaardvark hit the spot. Generous portions of starters and main courses at very reasonable prices. The only downside was the puddings - they had a great 2for1 deal on, but if you were... More

We were breaking from a meeting at the Ramada hotel and rather than have an expensive hotel lunch we opted for the Aardvark which is a 1 minute walk away. The pub was quite given it was a Monday time this was to be expected but the service was good, meals were relatively cheap and the quality of the food... More

This is a very nice place to have a dinner and a drink, or watch some game. They have lovely beer garden, also with screen outside. I recommend it for the price and place. They just have a little problem with too many clients - they are not able to clean tables and glasses, the place is getting dirty when... More
