Ever wondered what it would be like to fly a real plane? Enjoy the thrill of take-off and learn the art of landing a plane with this 1.5-hour jet simulator experience at Coventry Airport. After receiving expert instruction on how to fly the plane, hop aboard a Boeing 737, 747 or Airbus A320 for a 1-hour simulated flight, accompanied by a professional airline pilot instructor. Steve, who runs the emporium, is very knowledgeable about Phil Silvrs and Top Cat which was based on Sergeant Bilko. This place is well worth a visit and has free parking nearby at the Fargo Village car park.

Too Good to Miss. How lucky were we to find out about this amazing testament to one of our very much loved comedy characters during our era, what Steve doesn’t know about Phil Silvers isn’t worth knowing, in his small from the outside but, big on inside museum his attention to detail is fascinating & on entering you feel like you’re back in time as a kid again & being lifted with endless items to peruse & read about. You can see why other well known celebrities & people from all over want to visit. In today’s world of worry & uncertainty this takes you back to a time when people belly laughed & happiness was in abundance, really really wish the BBC would air these programmes again & give us all something to giggle too. Well done Steve for all your hard work & effort in making this a kind of journey back in time to laughter!! We’ll be telling everyone to visit & hope you continue doing what you are doing 😁👏🏻 Thank you for a great & delightful insight 👍

A visit to Fargo village at far Gosford street would not be complete without a trip to see Sgt Bilko. A small but well equipped with memorabilia and Phil Silvers clothes, glasses, and other personal effects it takes you down memory lane as fast or slow as you want and all this for £0. The passion and knowledge of your host is infectious and informative, oh and did I say it was free. Sign the visitor book, have your photo taken and you’ll even be given a badge again for nothing so what’s to lose.

If you love comedy and have an hour or two to spare, Sgt. Bilko's Vintage Emporium & The Phil Silvers Archival Museum is well worth a visit. The Phil Silvers Show is considered by many (including myself) to be the best Sitcom ever and it is excellent to see the memory of comedy genius Phil Silvers being kept alive by owner Steve Everitt. His passion and knowledge are second to none and the archival museum is an Aladdin's Cave of memorabilia and personal items from Phil Silvers life. WELL WORTH A VISIT!!!!!

Finally did our postponed visit to Sgt Bilko's Vintage Emporium and The Phil Silvers Archival Museum in Coventry. A true delight for all Phil Silvers fans; a true gem of a place. The curator Steve was extremely welcoming and clearly has an encyclopeadic knowledge of Phil Silvers career and contribution to comedy. We had a fantastic afternoon looking at the impressive display of memorabilia connected to the character of Bilko and Silvers' wider career. A visit is an absolute MUST for fans of this great comedian.
