My partner and myself went to the Murder Mystery Night. As there were only two of us we had to sit with other people. We were lucky as they were all good fun. The actors were very good and tongue and cheek. Very entertaining and having it in the old jailhouse makes if even more appealing, The buffet is ok... More

We recently went to the Murder Mystery Night at the Arundel Jailhouse. It was my mum's 60th birthday, and my parents 40th anniversary, so we were hoping for a special evening. We were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of the huge birthday cake I had brought with me. Our group of 12 were all seated together,... More

For a different type of social event, this is really good. The murder mystery evening is really well delivered by 3 actors with great skills in acting, customer interaction and sense of humour. Don't expert 5 star food or a well stocked bar but just have fun. The staff are really good as well and have a sense of humour... More

We, a group of 13 work colleagues and friends, had booked months in advance to visit the jailhouse murder mystery evening. Upon entering the jailhouse various other groups were assigned tables. Two of which were a group of men whose sole aim seemed to be to get even more drunk and make as much as noise as possible. The consequence... More

What a great evening we had. The warm welcome to this quirky place was just the beginning of a very enjoyable experience the Jailhouse has a great atmosphere and it's very cosy and we felt very comfortable you have to appreciate where you are and go with it. The staff are fabulous, the actors funny if a little bit risqué... More

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the jailhouse for the Murder Mystery Evening. Never having done a murder mystery before we were open minded about what would unfold. Got say we were more than than delighted with everything from the warm welcome when we arrived, the ambiance of the jailhouse, which is, what it is ...the vaults of a... More

A good evening out in a location that fits the theme. Hard working and friendly staff and actors who do their best to make you enjoy the whole evening. The buffet is of excellent quality and choice considering there are no chefs or a kitchen there. There is a nice starter of duck pate or vege choice then a multitude... More

We went with a large group who hadn't been to a murder mystery night before. Firstly we couldn't all sit together as there were about 15 of us but thankfully the staff were very accomodating and allowed us to move the tables so we could. The actors were great and I loved the innuendo in the script. It says on... More

Myself and a few friends recently visited for the Murder Mystery Night. The venue is a real gem for an entertaining and intimate night out. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the mystery itself acted by a great group of actors who had us all in stitches. Think Cluedo meets Carry On. We couldn't fault the food (buffet style... I rarely have an experience where i feel the need to comment negatively, but unfortunately this was one of them. Other than the very warm welcome we received on entrance, the evening was generally poor. To keep brief, the food was by far the worst food ive ever eaten, organisation was non-existent, lots of queuing for drinks, room had some... More
