Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The gentlemen at the front did say that visitors often say there is so much packed into this museum and they’re right as there is so much history of this wonderful Arundel town! Extremely interesting information with an accessible, easy to read, display of information, ranging from texts to artefacts. Very friendly staff and an enjoyable experience. An absolute must.

The Arundel Museum was very interesting. Packed full of information, it makes you realize how much history the town has and connects you to decades prior. The information was well put together and interesting for all ages. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable - a great asset to the Museum.

A small museum adjacent to the coach park entrance was £4-50 there are also guides that give an interesting walk around the pretty town. The museum does very LaVazza coffee for £2-50 and there are a few seats outside.
You can get a coffee without paying for admission. A good gift shop on your left as enter.

Fascinating museum, next to the River Arun, well laid out, giving a good history of Arundel with many artifacts. Very enjoyable.

Lots to see at the Arundel museum - the history of the town is a quite remarkable display, and highlights the C14/ 15th corruption which dragged the town down into poverty, whilst making made local "businessmen", wealthy. Only intervention by the reigning monarch at least checked the amounts involved.
By subdividing the history of the town into centuries, highlights the story of this rather special Sussex town and is shown to be one of rise, and fall, and then more growth. So much to see, and be aware of.

Entry to the museum is subsidised if you visit the castle. I think this is extortionate and entry should be free

We really enjoyed the visit to this museum. The ladies at the entrance were wonderful and there are age appropriate things to do for children so the parents can read the info and the kids have fun too. It is a small museum but definitely worth a visit to learn all about Arundel through the ages. Our 5 year old had loads of fun making puzzles, getting dressed up, playing detectives and building her own castle.

When you visit Arundel Castle, they give you a discount voucher, to use at the Museum, so you get in for half price.
The Museum is very small. Some useful information available.
