I very much enjoyed visiting the heart of this sporting estate. For an estate which is so proactive in promoting it's self and all it has to offer the fact you can visit the house seems to be rather on the down low, which in...More

The best thing about Goodwood House is that it is more a family home than a grand mansion. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and obviously lived in. The pictures are varied and fascinating. Very interesting and well worth visiting if you can.

The FOS, like everything else Goodwood does is spot on. Fantastically well organised from traffic management approaching the venue from several miles away, through the vast car parks and right up to the entrance to the event. Once inside the site is well laid out...More

Beautiful Estate, offering numerous spectacles and events. If you are lucky enough to have good weather and can wander around the grounds as well, it is like stepping back into a bygone age.

Well this was very enjoyable, but again guides fail to understand the important events that have happened in these beautiful and historic houses. But on the whole excellent, very enjoyable.

My first visit to this local attraction. It's included in Historic Houses membership and has fairly limited opening hours. Glad I finally made it. All visits are lead by a tour guide. The Dukedom was awarded to the youngest illegitimate son of Charles ll, so...More

We visited here recently. We were asked to wait a few minutes for the next tour, which turned out to be a personal tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The house is stunning, with lots of beautiful old furniture, decoration and artefacts. It is also...More

I believe that the parking is free...? But you probably have to walk further than when going on the bus. But the car park is an attraction in itself! 🏁🌞
