We visited for the Yo-Kai Watch half term today and it was not short of fantastic. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and we managed to do. All the activities. We made little mini characters, we made games controllers and then created a circuit so we could play with them, we say a character, did a trail and hit... More

We came for the half term Nintendo exhibition. We have 3 children 2, 6 and 10 who enjoyed this so much. The museum was easily accessible from the Sharpe Street car park which was only £3 for the time we were there. The staff were so helpful and engaging with the children. The cafe was great and the guys who... More

Good to spend a couple of hours , went to see the documentary about the space station on the Imax this was a must see. Expect to see lots of school parties, it might be a good idea to go late afternoon when they should have gone. Enjoyed our visit.

Quick review. Went here today with 11 yr old because in theory it sounded a great day. Very disappointed with the place, 2 floors were not open due to upcoming events so we were left with the basement showing old cameras, the animation room which was ok but could have been better, the games arcade and the room where you... I've been going here for years, so I know the main exhibits, I love the retro video games, or rather beating my teenage sons. The cafe's nice too. The imax is excellent, but check it in advance in case there's a special on. The late evening specials they run are great All in all an excellent attraction

I really do not understand the high rating this place has. It's terrible. 6th floor old TV shows were not working. Loads of broken, non working items. Thankfully my grandchildren enjoyed it but I WILL NOT return I found it badly laid out and the wait for the only elevator was annoying.

Went with wife on Vally's Day (lucky girl!) Very friendly staff and interesting exhibits many from our childhood but a variety of different mediums showcasing what a creative nation we are. All free although donations welcome but no pressure to do so. Would recommend.

If looking for a free morning out I would recommend. Could not see it taking longer then that and taking sandwiches would save you money

We went to the IMAX cinema here, part of the Media Museum. The experience is certainly not to be missed. Then went on to the media part of the museum, various floors of hands on fun for children, and interest for the older person. A free experience in the museum.
