This attraction is free and very interesting. It was military stronghold back in the day. Beautiful furniture no ghosts were seen on my visit. Its a bit hard to find the sign says half mile then disappears maybe thats the ghost part?? Amazing it has stood this long. Free parking and a nice gift shop.

It is great that Bradford Council see fit to maintain this historically important building for future generations. However, there is an air of neglect about it both inside and out. Surrounded by a housing estate, the "gardens" are run down and in need of some TLC. (Maybe volunteer/community groups could take it on). The building itself, needs cleaning up, particularly... More

We had heard of this place from Most Haunted. Its a free grade 1 listed building in the middle of an industrial estate, not far from Bradford city centre, with its own free car park. With a fantastic insight into history, Bolling Hall was used as a Royalist base during the second siege of Bradford in 1643. So I particularly... More

This is a must see, don't be put off by the outside, the museum is fascinating and even has a code breaking trail to keep the children interested.

We were brought here by friends, and although the outside of the property looked rather austere and neglected, a wonderfully atmospheric treat awaited us inside! The building is full of interesting artifacts, there is an informative film to watch, and tales of hauntings to add to a place which seems to be a delightful time warp. The curator was very... More

We visited Bolling Hall as a detour. It's a wonderfully surprising house with many treasures. It's council run so it's free to visit. You can make a donation in one of the boxes scattered about the house. I particularly liked the collection of old keys and the relics from the English Civil War. There is a small and free car...
