Beautiful building

This is a beautiful peaceful building in the city centre. My two girls and I loved exploring it and learning about the history.

The cathedral offers a lovely relaxed way to spend a little time. The William Morris windows are worth a look and the atmosphere is of peacefulness giving time to reflect in a troubled world.

The cathedral is one of many beautifull buildings in the city and immediate area.these building suggest sto me that in days gone by Bradford was a prosperous area.how the mighty appear to have fallen.the cathedral itself is smaller than most but still a charming place .well worth a visit if in area.

I have lived in Bradford all of my 67 years and this was my first visit to the museum which was organised by a Facebook group i am in. I enjoyed listening to the tour guide telling the history of the place then a leisurely walk around in our own time a pleasant experience and i hope to repeat it... More

I was at the Cathedral today for a conference, which included lunch. I have no idea who provided the food but it was beautiful. Hundreds of people were there and we were all fed great food and soft drinks as well as tea and coffee. Well up to the standard we have come to know and love from Bradford Cathedral.

On a cold January day my experience of Bradford Cathedral was warm, from the welcoming staff to the fact that the place was warm. It was lovely to see the exhibition and to have time to look round this beautiful building. The William Morris stained glass window was an unexpected treasure.

although the place is not massive it is a fantastic building inside and out with many interesting features the stained glass is very impressive during the war of the roses they hung woolsacks from the church tower to try to stop any damage while in the area go up the road towards the cock and bottle just before the traffic... I was disappointed that the churchyard had been deconsecrated and the names of those who had been interred there not recorded. Hard to do family history when headstones etc have not been preserved.

but perfectly formed---another Bradford gem--one of a few that escaped the bulldozers in the 60s and 70s,Bradford lost so much of its history in that period including the fantastic Swan arcade, fortunetly the Corn Exchange survived as well---sotake in these splendid buildings when next in Bradford.

In the city centre and is well worth a visit. The cathedral has a large amount of fascinating information on the city history. I learnt a great deal about the events that shaped the city history. The people in the Cathedral were both friendly and informative,
