At the top of a steep and narrow street paved with cobblestones is the Black Bull, which has the typical atmosphere of a British Pub, with excellent counter meals and Dart contests on scheduled nights.

In Howarth for only a couple of nights. Visited the Black Bull Saturday night and listen to a girl singer who was great. Would make it my local if I lived there. Bar staff very friendly.

Me and my husband went on Valentine’s Day for a bite to eat and to get out of the cold, the lady behind the bar was very welcoming and the food was amazing, I would highly recommend the hot beef sandwich.
