Point of interest on the Top Withens circular walk
The Brontë Falls were really just a point of interest on the circular Top Withens walk we did. Great walk in beautiful moorlands countryside. Start in Haworth at Cemetery Road and follow the signs to Top Withens via the Brontë Falls, then loop around through Stanbury village and back to Haworth. About 10km. Nothing too strenuous but the track was quite muddy in places. The Brontë Falls were picturesque, if quite small.

    Wonderful place
Well worth the 2.5mile (each way) walk from Haworth! Stunning scenery, it’s like walking back in time! A bit tricky when nearly at the falls as there are a few rocks to manoeuvre over ( a bit slippy if not wearing sturdy foot ware). The falls are beautiful, it’s a lovely large area where you can sit and admire them. We ate our lunch there. Our dog also enjoyed the walk.

The walk to the waterfalls was stunning.
Couldn't get enough of the views.! We had a lovely day for the walk and made the most of our cameras. The waterfall was stunning and listening to the running waters at the river was so relaxing. My fiancee found the place so special, she will never forget her time there. 😍

Some people there and there on our way to the waterfall. We left waterfall midday towards Top Withins and didn’t see a single person the entire route. Great if you have very active dogs lol

Absolutely breathtaking! The walk from Penistone Country Park to the falls takes you through some amazing landscapes, then the arrival at the falls, with the sound of the stream running through the rocky ground, is truly magical.

It was understandably busy, but this didn't detract from my experience. This isn't for everyone as the walk to and from was tricky but was all on paths.

We had read reviews before going that said the waterfall was a little underwhelming, and I'm glad we knew this before going as I definitely would've been underwhelmed! It's nice, but I think it's more a stream than a waterfall. The walk to it was very easy and there were a lot of lovely sheep and lambs en route too.

There are lots of lovely walks in Yorkshire so, unless you are on a Bronte pilgrimage, I wouldn't bother with this one. It's true that the sisters used to go there frequently (apparently) but yhat doesn't make it worth the effort. "Waterfall" is a very generous description for this little stream and the walk in holds few views that can't be beaten elsewhere. It's OK.

Waterfall was somewhat underwhelming but the walk was fantastic. If you wish you can push on for a further mile up to Top Withens

Lovely walk in a beautiful part of Yorkshire. It was a Monday so quiet. Next time will walk further, it was so cold today
