Brilliant outdoor experience
Aug 2021 • Family
My 9yr old daughter spent two weeks there last month and absolutely loved it. No devices, no iPads, no Netflix, just great outdoor activities that children love! No two days were the same; excellent instructor to child ratios, caving, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, rafting and orienteering etc! Highly recommend! Flexible drop off and pickup is a real bonus as well! Thank you

Single parent holiday
Jul 2021 • Family
My 12 year old and I have just returned from the best holiday we have ever had! We joined other single parent families on a 6 night adventure holiday. It was booked on a whim, mainly because it was so cheap!

From the second we arrived we were looked after completely, everything was well planned allowing me to switch off completely and let others take the lead. During the days we took part in adventure walks, weaseling, caving, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, climbing, archery, low ropes, high ropes and abseiling. In the evening there were various games and activities.

Food was provided and was plentiful. The menu was fixed but the staff adapted it to suit my fussy eater. I would describe it as standard family dinners.

Accommodation was simple, but clean and comfortable with plenty of social areas available.

We made lots of friends and the children all got along well. It was with a sense of sadness that we left. This is surprising for me as I am a home bird so it really shows just how good this holiday was.

On the final night we were given a feedback form to fill in. We'll, that was a challenge! I could think of nothing I would change.

My final word is for the staff, the people who really made our holidays. I never saw any without a smile. They appeared to love kids and to genuinely love what they do. For me, they truly made the holiday special. Thankyou so much.

Went here for a residential trip with SGS and I was extremely afraid of heights a super bad phobia, but I was helped to be pushed beyond that barrier and conquer said fear. Love ya Kate!

Best school trip ever.

Went here on a residential trip. Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Banter and gentle persuasion encouraged children to push themselves out of their comfort zone and to succeed at many varied activities. Food was great and although rooms were basic, beds were surprisingly comfortable. Couldn’t fault the experience. Thoroughly recommend.

I went on a school trip here
Jun 2018 • Friends
I thought this was amazing! I went on a school trip here and we did high ropes, archery, labyrinth, canoeing and weasling. The staff were really friendly and jolly all of the time and encouraged everyone when we doubted ourselves. Dale or should I say ‘Sensei Dale’, you were hilarious and awesome! Adrian - ‘A Drain’ - thanks for helping with the high ropes and zip line you are awesome too! Abbie, thanks for driving us to the resevoir. 😁 And cooks, the food was delicious!

I went to high adventure. The staff were incredibly unfriendly and had very bad attitudes in particular Jenny. I wouldn’t advise this trip as it costs a lot and can be a waste of time

Really good and challenging
Sep 2013
Went with work on Friday. Staff very good (Luca was our team leader). High adventure can be a bit misleading, as although they do have the big climbing frame you can see from the road, they also have an underground cavern system built into an old swimming pool. Very challenging especially in the dark ! Box building suspended on ropes great fun too. Thanks to all the staff.

Great fun, Great People, Children's Activity Party Venue
Jun 2013 • Family
We booked High Adventure on a Sunday afternoon for our daughters 12th birthday party - 11 other girls of a similar age and they loved it!. Danielle chose a high wire activity and archery though there are loads of different options to choose from. Stuart, the instructor was brilliant. All the girls had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and at least 2 challenged their own fears on the high wire!. We also had use of a very large room/dining area afterwards for her 'party tea'. I have no hesitation whatsoever in thoroughly recommending High Adventure for a party's of all ages. At £120 for 12 guests I think this gives very good value for money. An additional £20 for the room hire afterwards is reasonable BUT (and my only negative comment) there is NO fridge space available if you bring your own food with you.
