Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked this tour emerdale classic was unable to attend as my wife fell down damaged her hip and cut open her leg ,I phoned this company and asked under the circumstances could I reschedule this date, was just told under their terms could not do anything as we cancelled less than 2 weeks before tour date ,they were unsympathetic about our problem ,but would give us a discount if we booked another tour ,it was like we got your money tough luck ,no customer care

Caught the tour in Leeds ,booking tour was easy and gave accurate information about where to join tour guide.our tour guide was very knowledgable about Emmerdale and had lots of interesting facts, plenty of time was given at each stop to take photos & ask questions, on way back guide gave a quiz sheet to sort out the die hard fans

Definitely well worth a visit if you are an Emmerdale fan as my mum and I are. We were met by the tour guide Martin who gave us informative information about each house and it's occupant's and also snippet's of behind the scenes gossip. As we walked into the village Martin took our photo's if we had a camera behind the famous Emmerdale street sign. The village is just how you see it on the tv and there are plenty of opportunities to take photo's of all the house's and of course the famous Woolpack Inn,you can't go inside any of the house's but you can go inside the church. The tour take's about an hour and a half and is well worth it. You do have to go on a coach tour as you can't just turn up as this is a working set. After the tour finishes there is time to buy your souvenirs the David's shop bag's are very popular.

Was really looking forward to the day out at emmerdale studios but was a little disappointed it was very rushed tour guides was ok but kept hurrying us along in a group of about 35 there wasn't enough room for everyone to see once in each set and the fact that on the Web it says you can get as many photos as you like but that wasn't the case there was no time to get the pics if you did get chance to get your camera out the lights went off and we were moved onto next set. You can take pics in all sets apart from the woolpack set which was disappointing as you can only have a pic taken by the guides and purchase it at the end for £7.50 Gift shop was so expensive we didn't bother I'm glad we didn't pay anymore than £20 for the tickets because it just wasn't worth it.

Hi Im afraid you have posted this review to the wrong location. We are not the Emmerdale Studio Experience. We run Emmerdale location bus tours. Can you please post this elsewhere. Thankyou John

We had a lovely tie on the tour and our tour guide Steve was fantastic .The only problem was the meeting place,we had planned to have lunch before the tour in the stable, we ordered our food which took over an hour to arrive having ordered a sandwich, ploughman’s lunch and fish pie.
The ploughmans lunch was the worst .We arrived early but ended up rushing to catch the bus waiting for the awful food.

My teen daughter an I took this 4hr tour a few days ago. We were met at Leeds station by our guide Duncan, who was very welcoming. His commentry and knowledge of Emmerdale and Leeds was fantastic.
Highlights for us were:
- Otley (Hotton) Village, a lovely little town.
- Home Farm.
- Esholt Village, with the original Woolpack Pub.
We also won the quiz on the way back into Leeds at the end of the tour, so it pays to listen to the facts during the commentry. The fact we did the studio experience the day before also helped!
