Disappointing visit. the whole museum seemed to be geared toward children and education. Large ground floor area underused, quite an opportunity missed

I like the display of the city centre and all its history in time order. The Asian gallery is impressive.

It is a good place if you have an hour you need to kill but not much to keep you there for much longer.

This is a stunning building wish I'd had longer to see more of the museum especially the history of Leeds but it is a reason to return

We went to support a event but managed to have a look round. Lots to look at and educational. Next door is a nice little museum café which is reasonably priced. Luckily this time of year outside the museum you can also visit the German market which is in square just outside. Although we thought it was a tad expensive... More

We visit here frequently and love it, especially looking at the animals and finding about the history of leeds. The shop is reasonably priced for gifts though very adult based in some areas. Toilets aren't amazing there, only three on the ground floor and certainly not clean and very dark and dreary. A facelift wouldn't go amiss.

Unfortunately we only had a hour here before they closed but the short time we had here was great. We whizzed around and saw each part of the museum, albeit briefly but each floor looked great with so much to see and do. I spent the most time in the special exhibit which was to commemorate Remembrance Day, and was... More

Lovely little museum from Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Stuffed Animals to the History of Leeds. Something for every-one. The upper and lower floors were excellent. The fact that it's FREE is very good

We came to Leeds on a coach trip and were so glad that we found the Museum. We could have done with an extra couple of hours to see everything that was on display here. There is so much to see and it's displayed very well. The staff were so nice and friendly and would answer any questions. We only... More
