This cinema has been going for years, hasn't really changed, & we don't want it to. The complete opposite if the multiplex cinema, it's a throw back to the good old days of cinema. The ice creams come out at the front at the interval,...More

We used to live nearer to the place than we now do, and miss it a lot. It was always a treat, and reminded me of what cinemas used to be. As a student, I saw all the biggies of the day -Yellow Submarine, Who...More

Great price for a cinema trip: popcorn, tickets, concessions. Velvet chairs and screen curtains, an intermission before the film to get icecream. And to top it off, a top quality sound system (fiance is a music producer and agrees!)

Great prices, comfy old seats, cheerful staff and never too busy. Popcorn, old school style boxes of sweets and drinks available at affordable prices. There's an interval between adverts and the movie for ice cream to be sold from the bottom of the room. It's...More

This is a lovely old cinema, well worth a visit for reasonable prices, both for tickets and refreshments. It shows all the current films and some less mainstream ones. It’s a great alternative to the big multi-screen cinemas, apart from one missing factor. It has...More
