Great fun. Cool animals in tanks etc and a mini tropical butterfly house with added turtles and fish and birds and a meerkats enclosure! Like many places though there is rarely anything new so once you've been once you've done it all. That being said,...More

Took a group of customers with Learning Disabilities to visit Tropical World. We all loved it, then went to café for a drink.

It's a nice place to visit with children. My 3 years old enjoyed watching animals, especially liked meerkats. A must see in Leeds.

I have taken my little niece and nephew a few times and they love it every time. So many animals to see (the meerkats are their faves) it’s so fun to look at all the butterflies with them. Lovely day out!

All of the tropical house is inside and the enclosures are very warm so even if its horrible outside I wouldn't wear to many layers.

Sorry for the delay in answering. Many of the flying birds, butterflies etc are free to fly around. Some of the bigger species are in cages/tanks.
