Cocktail Bar & Drinking Den // Tucked away above our sister-bar...

Cocktail Bar & Drinking Den // Tucked away above our sister-bar Sandinista on Cross Belgrave Street in the Northern Quarter of Leeds.Whilst we operate a relaxed door policy, you'd have to be looking for our subtle entrance to discover the text riddled staircase that leads up to our dark and opulent little bar. Expect cosy candle-lit booth seating, exquisite spirits and homemade nectars. Swing-jazz, electric blues, chilled dance and subtle hip hop add to the intimate atmosphere and the small bar team here have put together a drinks menu to suit. Our cocktails are a carefully considered list of extravagant pours and delicate mixes that take inspiration from classic serves, whilst homemade infused spirits create delicious blends such as the popular Gospel Sour; Maple Smoked W.L Weller Bourbon hand shaken with honey, chocolate, vanilla and a whipped egg white.A fine choice of craft beers and bottled ales can be also found on the menu along with hand-selected wines for the world’s best vine regions. Prices reflect the quality of drinks and service on offer but are far from pretentious, cocktails range between £6.50 and £8 whilst beer and wine are listed from £3.60 and £4 a glass. Whether you make a bee line for our curious little haunt, or simply stumble across it, we hope you won’t be disappointed!

Hidden between popular bars at the top of Leeds this bar is a little oasis. We went on a mission to find this place and we are so glad we did. Only a small sign above he door advertises the bar. Upstairs a hidden oasis waits even on a Saturday night we could still get a table. The drinks on... More

Hidden away at the top of Leeds this place blew me away. The decor of the bar is fantastic! The bar staff are very knowledgeable and a large selection of spirits and cocktails. Would recommend a visit to Blind Tyger.

Came here with friends for a quiet few drinks - absolutely loved it! Very chilled, quiet atmosphere with a lot of very interesting cocktails on offer. Barman even made me my own mocktail of my favourite flavours (unfortunately I was the designated driver!). Came as a small group which worked well but not sure I'd want to go in a... More

I came here not long after it opened and was blown away by the venue, the staff and the drinks. Oh how the times have changed. My favorite cocktail was a 'little death' which was an absolute dream, but it seems to have lost its quality, the cherry is no longer soaked in absinthe, but seems to be a green... More

Blind Tyger is a bit out of the way and you have to go looking for it but if you do, you're in for a treat. The decor is really impressive and the selection if cocktails is too - try the one that comes with popcorn!!!!

Arrived at the end of the night....nice and secluded no signs - speakeasy.....! Walk up the stairs and arrive in a quite little corner of Leeds - windows open so you can hear the rustle of the street below... It's a cocktail place, so check the menu and choose your delight. The think I like about this place is they... More

I would like to be able to give this a different review but unfortunately we couldn't actually get to the bar. We had booked a booth for 19 people for my hen night, on arrival the door was locked with a private party sign. We went to the bar in Sandista and was told there had been a mix up... More

I booked the venue for my sisters hen party on 16th April. I can only say fabulous service start to finish. Wonderful cocktails, we also ordered canapés and a buffet provided by sister bar Sandinista gorgeous food and many happy ladies at the end of the night. Added bonus the gentleman running the bar that evening, definitely added to the... More
