We’ve been visiting for 5 years but it’s nowhere near as fun as it used to be. There were too many people on track at once (16) in both of our races. This meant too many incidents, yellow and red flags almost every lap. When we got the results it was clear we only managed 2 full speed laps out of the 20 we raced, every other lap was flagged and spoiled. When it is almost £40 a go (so £110 for me, my son and his friend) and we’re quite experienced, we expect to be able to race properly. I would welcome your response please, if it always going to be like that now (was last time as well) then we’re likely to start trying somewhere else.

Staff are great. The place is great but on the track there are two places that need some attention. One is just before the S’s your kart jumps and unsettles you for the turn in. Two is going into and under the bridge VERY VERY rough and as you are flat out it knocks hell out of you. Surely these could be graded and sorted out quit easily to make it more smooth and a more enjoyable track.

Overall, the experience was mixed feelings. We had 2 x 15 mins sessions which was good fun, organised well on the track, friendly stewards and great staff on the bar who delivered the results. However, a sour taste was left at the front desk by the manager who advised on the day that the prices had gone up from when I had originally booked in October for my birthday. This was a rearranged event because I broke my ribs just before the original date. Only 8 of the 12 drivers could attend leaving 4 driving spaces left, however; the manager proceeded to say that monies had been diluted and therefore, the original agreement was not valid. He proceeded to hand out balaclavas without mentioning this was being deducted from the credit. This only came to light at the end of the session when I attempted to resolve this matter with the view to honouring the 12 spaces only to be told there was credit of around £30 with 4 other drivers missing out. This has left a very poor impression on the handling of this from Teamsport with poor customer service being delivered at the front desk, embarrassing myself and my group in front of other groups waiting to be served. As a manager of the centre we expected a higher level of customer service with a suitable resolution by at least honouring the original agreement. None of this was mentioned at the time of rebooking. This was the start of an annual birthday celebration left with a poor first time experience of using TeamSport. We appreciate prices do increase and we would expect that when/if booking again, however, the best resolution is to honour the original agreement under the circumstances.

enjoyed the day over all and the team were professional and helpful. however myself and 4 others were black flagged due to too fast under yellow flag while although we was told no overtaking the speed was not mentioned and i was behind others who were going faster than allowed. i understand the need for safety and we did slow down but it was still too fast. also there were some cars that were clearly slower than others which is very disappointing if you happen to get one of those cars. i was overtaking my son despite him being much faster than myself as he is 3 stone lighter. his second car was woefully slower and spoilt his day as he is very competitive. yes i would go again but a suitable car is a lottery. lastly having to buy a balaclava is not ideal. id recommend free balaclava and a washing machine after use

Staff were very nice and helpful but unfortunately on our two 15 minutes sessions we had 15 karts each time with different levels of drivers. This resulted in lots of yellow and red flags and we only managed 2 or 3 fully green laps per session. Had to make the best of it as we was celebrating my sons 18th but must admit that we were left disappointed.

The kids have really been wanting to come here for a while so I took them. Once they're on the track, it's not quite fun as imagined. A lot of aggressive drivers who have obviously had much more experience before. It's a shame to see 30/40plus year old drivers being so competitive against 14 year old children. A lot of bumps and knocks along the ride too.
