Very good venue - only drawback was the slight draught I could feel from behind. It could have been a little warmer in the hall on a chilly night! The Manfreds were brilliant as... read more

A male singing group from Port Isaac, Cornwall, who sing sea shanties. I didn't really want to go because it sounded dreadful! How wrong I was, Beautiful singing and fun with it. I cannot recommend this group enough!

Really enjoyed an afternoon being entertained by The Spitfire Sisters, dancers and a good band. Second half was very moving with hymns and music by Glenn Miller. The whole event was really well organised. Amazing band. Hats off to you all!

This very spacious building offers a great variety of shows throughout the year, from famous stars, singers and comedians and much more. The lower seats are all on the same level, so if you are not very tall , try to purchase tickets on the tiered levels further back. There is a bar for interval drinks etc. Local restaurants are within... I have been to this venue twice in one year now , in my case for theatrical reasons rather than some other reasons . The other reasons being is that not only is it just a theatre , but also it's used for conferences ,showroom , exhibitions and plays . In my two visits I've gone to see two concerts... More

We went as a family of 8 to see the comedian Al Murray. Venue in the centre of Salisbury and parking very nearby. Visited on a Sunday night. Has 2 bars and a sweet area. Two sets of toilets but only 3 cubicles in each. Slightly run down venue but ok for a random night. Friendly and helpful staff.

Just returned from seeing Jimmy Carr, great show, city hall very busy but the staff were all friendly and helpful. City hall have a lot of good artists on with close parking. Well worth a visit

It's close to train station. I saw Lesley garret perform with the local musical theatre company. Thoroughly enjoyed it. My only criticism is that the entrance is hidden from the town and signing is deceiving

Large theatre with a very large public car park behind. Constant program with many well-known acts and performers.

Ideal venue for shows as plentiful parking nearby which is free in the evenings although a fair queue to get out afterwards. City Hall is opposite the Playhouse and both offer easy access to the rest of the city centre and restaurants etc Due to a daft £2 booking charge if you book online I booked over the phone and...
