On a hill above Salisbury if its wet and windy in Salisbury its gale force up here! Very interesting place £2 to park but you get that off the entrance. Not a huge amount to see but a nice hour spent.

Fascinating ruin with more to see than is first apparent plus an optional walk around the site. A great ruin with an amazing atmosphere on a cold, windswept day. Superb views of Salisbury cathedral and the chance to walk round the base of the old...More

Good views over Salisbury although to be fair you can see those without visiting the site. The information boards need replacing as they are difficult to read. The guide book is interesting and probably essential to get the most of the visit although adds to...More

if you just want to see the ruins maybe 90 mins or so depending if you walk the surrounds. why not add in a picnic or visit the pub avross tne road. If you're trying to cram, combine with stonehenge and Salisbury city. Enjoy
