Walked here for a pint or two. Ale was very good and kept well. Good stop on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Outdoor kitchen area makes it easy for ordering. Didn’t eat though. Family friendly.

Although the setting is excellent we felt that the garden was not cleared well and everything felt sticky. The gents toilets were a disgrace and need pulling down and starting again. There was no door lock and the entire room was dirty and smelly.

It was OK I guess. No more than a chain pub with aspirations to be little else. Food certainly from the microwave. Music was too loud. Nice room though ...
