Lovely place for a mooch
Aug 2021 • Couples
We had a lovely walk round the gallery and shop at The Fisherton mill. So much to look at and take in with a lovely art exhibition as well. Always good to support independent businesses so would definitely recommend when visiting Salisbury.

Fisherton Mill Gallery, Salisbury

We love the art and the craft in the gallery. It's one of the most interesting places to visit. And the lunch was delicious. To top off our visit we were served by an Italian waiter who was a true professional. He combined a warm welcome with great efficiency.

Leave enough time to mooch as it's worth it!

A brilliant find in Salisbury 5 mins from good parking. Has everything the discerning independent artist buyer could wish for from a huge selection of artisan cards to sculptures and paintings with everything in between . Fisherton Mill holds craft workshops and the cafe was a real find.
Lots of choice, lovely staff and nearby parking what's not to love? I also stocked up on birthday cards and general cards for the year as the choice was brilliant.

I will be back regularly and looking forward to their Christmas Craft Market on the 12th December 2020.

A little gem
Aug 2020
I foolishly said to my husband that I'd only be half an hour. Oops!

I'm passionate about art and crafts and it was so heart-warming to see such a big space bustling with activity. I didn't have time to see everything, but there was a wonderful range of art, ceramics, jewellery and many other items for sale. For once I treated myself, and bought a delightful decorative teaspoon.

The cafe menu looked amazing, but sadly we already had plans for lunch. Judging by the number of people there the food and coffee was obviously very good.

Every town should have a creative hub like this where like-minded artists and members of the public can come together.

A hidden gem in Salisbury that is well worth seeking out!
Aug 2020
Fisherton Mill is an absolute gem of a place, slightly hidden away but only a 5 minute walk from either the station or the city centre. It's well worth seeking out! Wonderful workshops and artisan goods, a fantastic and convivial cafe selling delicious freshly cooked food and incredibly helpful staff. A great place to find presents for friends - or yourself! The staff couldn't be more helpful - I have been here many times but today Lauren was particularly helpful in finding and wrapping a gift for me.

Something that every City should have
Aug 2020
Fisherton Mill is something that every City should have. That is somewhere where local artisans and craftspeople can show their art off, all under one roof. The prints, cards and jewellery are all outstanding. A bit of a walk from the centre but absolutely worth it.

A great find
Feb 2020
Very attractive setting in an very interesting gallery with lots of tempting art and craft work for sale. Lovely little cafe - very popular so expect to queue at lunchtime even mid-week. Food was very reasonable and exceptionally good value - I honestly think the citrus and za'atar chicken sandwich I had was the best sandwich I have ever had. Lovely staff and very good service.

Fisherton Street Gem
Jan 2020 • Couples
Worth the short walk down Fisherton Street from the city centre. Very pleasant lunch with a good choice from an imaginative menu. Pleasant attentive staff. Bistro type tables packed into a the Old Mill which is now an art centre/craft shop. Busy Saturday lunch which added to a good atmosphere. Will eat here again.
